Fué mi primer voluntariado y me la pasé increíble.
El ambiente es muy sociable y divertido, lo que me permitió convivir, compartir y hacer nuevos amigos de distintos países.
Las tareas en general son fáciles y los horarios bien organizados, por lo que puedes conocer y disfrutar Santiago.
Agradecida con Eduardo y Matías, siempre atentos y pendientes de que me sienta a gusto y cómoda.
Agradecer también a todos mis amigos voluntarios en especial a Aby, Dany, Isa, Janice, Rike; fué un mes increíble me llevó los mejores recuerdos.🫶

La Chimba is a really cool hostel. I enjoyed my stay a lot. It's a great place to relax, meet people, and have fun. It's also a good base for day or weekend trips. The staff are friendly and helpful. The experience is well organised. The hours and tasks are fair. I never felt rushed. I would have appreciated more variation of work though.

The only downside is the volunteer dorms, which are very basic. WIFI, and power outlets for each bed, would be ideal. Also, be aware it's extremely noisy in there every weekend because of the party streets nearby. You will struggle if you're a light sleeper.

"¡Mi experiencia como voluntario en este hostal fue fantástica! Desde el primer momento, la atmósfera fue acogedora y me sentí como en casa, algo que agradezco mucho a todo el staff. Realicé tareas diversas y fue genial tener contacto con tantos viajeros de diferentes partes del mundo.
Esta experiencia me permitió vivir en Santiago por varias semanas sin pagar alojamiento, lo cual fue un alivio para mi presupuesto. Más allá de lo práctico, conocí a personas increíbles y aprendí mucho. Te dan la oportunidad de ser parte de un equipo y te ayudan a sentirte parte de un hogar."
