I spent the loveliest 3 weeks in the cosy space of K House Hokkaido during the fall season! The full time staff were welcoming, friendly, clear with their instructions and hours were well respected. With only 4h of work a day and 2 days off a week, I had plenty of time to explore the surrounding nature and Mt Asahidake. If you love being in nature and enjoy a lot of quiet, solo time, this would be the perfect place for you. As I was the only volunteer there during that time, I got my own room that came with a toilet. I also got to use the onsen every day, a rly therapeutic experience!

Staying at K's House was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful location, surrounded by nature. The facilities are very cozy, and you can use the onsen, which is beautiful. The tasks weren't difficult, and time was respected. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great place to relax. The only downside is that it's in a relatively remote location, with no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, and a limited number of buses per day. However, they make this very clear before you agree to volunteer there.

I had the greatest time in Asahidake Onsen. Everybody is super nice and welcoming. I was properly introduced in my tasks and learned a lot about the way the hotel is run. The work times where fair and I was always able to finish in time. Also the food support is a great help and Inwaas even drivem to Higashikawa once to get groceries. There is a great Onsen in the hotel and the landscape is amazing. I never felt bored during the month here because there is a lot to explore. I can only recommend to come here and experience nice people, wonderfull nature and amazing culture.

Volunteering at K's House was exactly what I needed! Being surrounded by mountains and the snow, in a beautiful and calm place, with a super nice team! Mizue-san and Masa-san are kind and helpful, clear in their directions. The cleaning tasks are straightforward and the work hours are always respected. And being able to be in the warm onsen while it's snowing is a magical experience!

Ambiente muy grato, buenos anfitriones y compañeros de trabajo agradables, todos dispuestos a ayudarte y que puedas estar tranquilo y hacer bien tus tareas diarias. El trabajo no es nada muy complicado si le pones empeño en aprender.
