I spent one month volunteering at Jetpak and it was such an amazing experience! The atmosphere is super friendly — you end up meeting people from all over the world and making friends really easily. Neil and Gülnür are truly wonderful people: kind, easy to talk to, always available if you need anything and they really make you feel at home The volunteer work itself was very easy, with plenty of free time to enjoy Thessaloniki, explore, or just hang out with other travellers.
I left with so many great memories, new friends, and a huge smile. I’d 100% recommend this hostel to anyone!

My experience at Jetpack was amazing and unforgettable.
It was my first time doing something like this and it couldn’t have been better. Gülnur and Neil are the kindest hosts, always accommodating and making me feel at home.
The work is simple, mostly reception and laundry, and the guests are wonderful, so I made friends quickly even as the only volunteer.
The kitchen is a bit limited, but there’s a shared fridge in the common area.
Overall, I’d wholeheartedly recommend this experience!

I have so many lovely memories from Jetpak! The vibes are very chill and the hostel feels a bit unorganised because of it. Keep in mind that the kitchen there is not the best to use, so cooking was made uncomfortable. But I really recommend the place, because the work is easy and I really felt in home. Big thanks for having me! (Special hugs to Tam and Lorenzo!!)

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I'm very happy I decided to do it! The work was easy and the hours were reasonable. Rooms were spacious and comfy, and the rooftop is a nice place to hang out. Location is great, in the middle of the party area and close to the centre.
It's not the most social hostel as there isn't a very big common area. The kitchen is only two stovetops in the attic which gets extremely hot in the summer and isn't a very hygienic place to cook as several cats live up there. Regardless I enjoyed my stay a lot :) Thessaloniki is a very lively and fun city.

The room and bathrooms are spacious and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. Shifts are flexible and tasks simple, during some shifts I had time to focus in my own projects. The vibe with fellow volunteers was great. Neil and Gulnür are kind and open to shift changes. Some info on the Worldpackers page is outdated—there's no bikes, or yoga. At the beginning breakfast was only cereal but during my last week we asked for bread. The kitchen is poorly equipped (no microwave or oven), dirty and very hot, with cats around, everything is sticky and with cat hair. It's very uncomfortable to cook.
