Hostellicious/ Casa d'Alagoa
Our hostel is the biggest in the Algarve! Accommodating people from all over the world, we ended up creating a place with a relaxed, fun, with an diversity and transformative energy. We have several partners that propose different activities to fully enjoy the best of the Algarve. An opportunity not to be missed.
The Worldpackers team is part of our way of being and be at the Hostel. All the work and fun is shared between everyone! From our daily activities to our event nights, we do it all in a team spirit! Volunteers are accommodated in a building right next to the Hostel, which is also our property, which has shared rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry.

Foi uma experiência excelente. Tive nesses meses a oportunidade de melhorar muito meus idiomas e conhecer muitas pessoas de diferentes culturas. Os staffs são muito amigáveis. Helena foi sempre muito compreensível e atenciosa, tanto comigo quanto com outros voluntários. Tive a oportunidade de fazer bons amigos graças ao hostel.

I stayed at Casa d’Alagoa for one month, and from the very first day I felt welcomed like part of a family. The hostel is very small, cozy, and familiar, and the whole staff has always been kind, helpful, and supportive. I worked in housekeeping and also helped in the kitchen, and everyone was always available to help me. All the tasks were easy and explained in a simple way. Even when there were language barriers, we always found a way to understand each other. I truly recommend this volunteer experience and I would definitely do it again.

My stay was amazing at the hostel.
They are all so friendly and welcoming.
I had to leave earlier than i planned but even then they were really amazing and i can fully recommend staying there.
U get to meet so many new people and also learn new languages and food cultures in the dinners

Fue una gran oportunidad para mejorar mi inglés aunque no era lo que esperaba.
La gente del hostel es muy amable y te hacen sentir comodo desde el momento cero y respetan los dias y horas de trabajo como son pactados.
Aunque la ciudad es pequeña, por el hostel pasa mucha gente linda para conocer, charlar y hacer planes.
Lo recomiendo para practicar y mejorar tu ingles!

Macao
This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was great. All the staff were very friendly, and time passed quickly while working with them. The work was easy, the spaces were clean, and the hostel is located in the city center. Faro is a small, calm city where you can really relax and enjoy your time during the volunteering. If you’re thinking of applying, I highly recommend it. Thank you for everything!
