As a volunteer, you won’t be stuck behind a desk—you’ll be out enjoying the city, organizing fun daily activities like beach days, sunset walks, and social evenings at the hostel. You’ll help create unforgettable experiences for our guests—and for yourself. We work as a team, and I’m always open to your ideas and creativity. You’ll also get to know the local culture, explore hidden spots in Split, and have plenty of free time to enjoy the city.

My name is Marijana and I’m the owner of two small, friendly hostels in Split. I’m a local, and I’ve been running the hostels with love and care for several years. I’m passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where travelers feel at home, and I bring that same energy into working with volunteers. Our team is small and relaxed—we’re like a little family. We treat volunteers with kindness, respect, and appreciation. You’ll be supported, listened to, and involved in decisions, especially when it comes to planning activities. I believe the best experiences come from genuine connections, so I always make sure our volunteers feel comfortable, included, and free to be themselves. You'll have plenty of time to explore, rest, and enjoy your stay in Split, and I’m always here if you need anything—from local tips to just someone to talk to. :)
