We were able to explore a local city! See the ocean, temples, zoo, and experience traditional life in a tourist free area. This was a nice place to relax and rest, though if you are looking for lots to do this might not be your place. We had very little contact to our host but he was very kind.

This was our first WP adventure. We loved it, but learnt a lot about not letting pictures and previous reviews give you unrealistic expectations. The Greenwaters stay was wonderful and comfortable. But the volunteer work happens at a farm location, where Tam stays. We should have asked more questions on arrival and so were a little dissapoined that we felt we could have contributed more than we eventually did. We did spend some time with some students at the farm which was a wonderful experiece.
Thank you Tam and Family for the opportunity to live and experience the Vietnamese culture.

I felt at home during my stay. The host and his mom were very welcoming. I felt very cared for. The kids all around really wanted to practice their English, which was nice.

The Ngo, his family and friends were so generous and welcoming. There was little to no work, occasionally helping engage some of his students in conversation which was fun work. The house is amazing and very comfortable, good location to explore the city on the bike. Celebrating Christmas and New Year was an unforgettable experience and im so grateful to be invited to travel with them to Dak Mil for an adventure. Ngo’s girlfriend was amazing and im very glad I got to meet everyone and hope to see them again. Thank you.

We stayed there for 1,5 weeks but were supposed to stay for 2 weeks. We had to cut it short, because there was simply nothing to do, neither work-wise or in the town.
During the stay we worked once for an hour. The work was okay, Tam and the children were very sweet.

At the homestay where we stayed no one spoke English, which made communication extremely difficult. We didn’t receive the meals as promised, not once. So we had to pay for food everyday. The homestay itself was okay, but there was no toiletpapir or soap and when we asked for toiletpapir we were told to buy it ourselves!
