i came right after the floods so there wasn’t really a lot of work to do or stuff u could help with at the restaurant, but having a private room and a bike to explore hoi an was truly a nice experience to do to settle a little after some time backpacking. i had to cut short my stay but emma and jam were very understanding.
the house also has a very cute cat so that was also nice to make you feel even more at home.
the food was amazing, and meeting other travelers was also fun but the local staff on the restaurant was a little shy and dont really know english so it is very hard to comunicate

Green Mango Hoi An is not just a building with beautiful architecture and not just one of many restaurants. It feels more like a culinary island you don’t want to leave. The food is beautifully presented and genuinely delicious.
The team is made up of easygoing, positive, and energetic people. The work itself is not difficult, but it includes many important details and nuances that made the experience valuable for me.
I stayed for one month. Accommodation was private and comfortable, with a kitchen and a washing machine. I truly enjoyed my time here and can highly recommend this experience to

I had a great time in Green Mango working in marketing taking videos and pictures, Hoi An is a great town where you can relax and hang out, a lot of places to eat or drink something. Emma was a great host with a lot of communication.

Had a great time volunteering for Green Mango! Emma was very flexible and it was great having a private room and a yummy meal from the restaurant daily. There is a lack of structure and organisation to the exchange, along with the GM wait staff team not wanting to be in social media posts so if you’re not great with figuring things out on your own it may be challenging. Other than that, it was great to live like a local in Hoi An - a truly beautiful city. Hope to come back sometime!

I had a great experience at Green Mango, especially working with Emma and the other volunteers. We had dinner and coffee together during my stay, always sharing new ideas and having a great time. The restaurant is about 15 minutes by bicycle from the house, so if you know how to ride a bike, it's great for you! Hoi An is a small city but has a lot to do, beach, river side and amazing coffee shops
