I am a person who loves life and nature and I love being able to share my good energies with everyone and create new friendships. Additionally, our work team will make you feel at home and will turn your stay into the most fun and exuberant you can have.

Voluntariar en Flutterby House fue como encontrar un hogar lejos de casa, un rincón cálido donde el alma respira tranquila. Cada día era una aventura en paisajes hermosos, con el sol guiando mis pasos y la brisa tropical cantando al oído🌴💫
El equipo… simplemente maravilloso!Amorosos, acogedores, y siempre con una sonrisa sincera—me hicieron sentir parte de la familia desde el primer día. Viví en un lugar precioso, rodeada de naturaleza, alegría y buena vibra. Y aunque había escuchado “pura vida” antes… no entendí su verdadero significado hasta que lo viví aquí🌺🌊🌞

Volunteering at Flutterby was my first experience with WP, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. I made amazing friendships and unforgettable memories — it truly felt like home.
The work behind the bar is easy and you’ll pick it up in no time. Even with the shifts, there's plenty of time to explore the town and relax on the beautiful beach.
I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!

I had a wonderful experience at flutterby! Everyone was super nice and welcoming, I made some really good friends and truly felt like home there. The location is perfect and super close to the most beautiful beach. I also really enjoyed working behind the bar since it was a great way to get to know the locals, improve my spanish and learn some tico words. I will miss this place. Gracias Fernando! A Cachete🤙🏼

¡Ha sido una experiencia increíble! ¡El lugar es maravilloso y todos son muy amables!
Con las otras voluntarias me divertí mucho y todo el staff de Flutterby te hace sentir bienvenida.
¡La comida es espectacular! Hablar con los locales todos los días ha sido una de mis partes favoritas! Ya extraño a todos, especialmente a Miguel y Moscow, los perros más lindos de toda Uvita :)

Por un lado el lugar es hermoso, el intercambio justo, hice buenos amigos y conecte con la naturaleza.
Pero más allá de eso el ambiente era muy machista y recibí muchísimas faltas de respeto, sobre todo de los clientes del bar pero también de algunos miembros del staff, Fernando nos usa a las voluntarias como mercancía para que los borrachos del pueblo vayas a tomar y mirarnos como si fuéramos un cacho de carne.
Me sentí muy desprotegida.
No lo recomiendo.
