I really enjoyed my experience at Equity Point, especially the opportunity to get to know the staff. They were incredibly kind, taught me lots of words and expressions in Darija, and in a city as touristy as Marrakech, they were the ones who helped me truly understand the local culture. I’m really grateful for that <3.
I would’ve loved to receive my schedules a bit more in advance to better organize my activities, but I understood the whole team worked that way. Still, if I needed a specific day off, I could always talk to the staff manager, who was lovely and supportive.

This was an amazing experience and I highly recommend everyone collaborating with this hostel!
The staff is incredibly nice and helpful - some cooks don't speak English and in no way it created any sort of barrier. I felt extremely welcomed and taken care of.
All the tasks were very easy to complete and most of the time in a very chill rhythm. I worked the amount of hours agreed and I even got to work a few extra hours some days in order to have 1 or 2 days off for little trips outside Marrakesh.
I loved it so much it was hard to say goodbye 🧡

I really had a great experience at Equity Point. All the staff members were very kind to me. I enjoy working at the reception with Ali, Youssef and Illyas. I did like to talk with international travelers. The local food was very good. I meet others volonteers and we became friends, they were such good people to get in touch. The hostel is very pretty and near the center. I went for 2 excursions on my days off to see the waterfalls and the desert(was really amazing) . I do recommand you to work at Equity point, if you want to discover Marrakech and to get a great memory of it.

My experience at the hostel was truly wonderful. It was hard to say goodbye. The staff is amazing, always making you feel welcome and at home. I learned a lot about Moroccan culture, picked up some Arabic, and made great friends. The work is simple and changes daily, sometimes in the restaurant, other times at the reception with 5-hour shifts. The hostel also provides three meals a day, which is a nice bonus. I’m very grateful for all the people I met and the memories we shared. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. I hope to come back soon and see you again.

I really loved my time at Equity. I was working from 8 till 4pm, 4 days a week at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and could enjoy 3 days off exploring Morocco. The tasks were simple and clear : taking order, serving and cleaning up.
I spent a lot of time with the staff, and I had the best time. I learned so much about Moroccan culture and learned to speak some words/sentences in Arabic. Everybody was so kind and welcoming. I will miss everybody...
The hostel is beautiful and there are lots of places to chill. I also made some friends among the guests.
Thank you for everything 🫶🏻
