Authentic Rajasthani Experience:
Stay in traditional mud huts or in our cozy home in a small village surrounded by the Thar Desert. You'll experience the peaceful, simple life of rural Rajasthan, with sand dunes, wildlife, and beautiful nature all around.

We run a school for local children, teaching them English and computer skills. By volunteering with us, you’ll help these children learn and give them opportunities they might not have otherwise.
Learn Traditional Skills:
During your stay, you can try activities like cooking over an open fire, making chai with fresh cow milk, working with camels, and helping on our organic farm. It’s a great way to learn about local culture.
Explore the Thar Desert:
The desert is full of wildlife, beautiful sand dunes, and stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset. You can go trekking, explore the area, or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Stay with a Warm Family:
You’ll be treated like part of our family. We speak Marwadi and Hindi, and we love sharing our culture and local sayings with guests. You’ll feel at home with us.

About Us and Our Family: Our family has been hosting guests at our homestay for over 10 years, so we are experienced in making visitors feel at home. We love sharing our culture, cooking together, and enjoying meals with our guests. Me and my dad can speak and understand english well, so communication should be easy, and we’re excited to learn about your culture as well! As a volunteer, you can expect to be treated like part of our family. We’ll make sure you feel comfortable and welcome throughout your stay, and we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have or share stories about our life here in Rajasthan. Our goal is to create a warm, friendly, and relaxed environment where you can truly enjoy your time with us.

The volunteer experience at the farm was very positive. I had a great time with Sumer’s family, who was very kind and welcoming. A special thanks to Sumer’s mother and sister, who I spend most time with. I helped them with different daily tasks at the farm. There was no pressure in working, I always had the choice to take a rest. The stay on the farm was a great escape from the busy city life in India. To take a part in their life and learn about their culture has been very enriching. Also, not to mention the food, which was delicious. Thank you for a great time!

The experience was positive, the place is truly stunning, and you have the real chance to escape from the more chaotic side of India. There is no work-related stress, and their family always makes you feel comfortable, special and warm-hearted people.

The stay at Dhanna Ram was absolutely great. The family is kind and welcoming, they always make sure you don't lack of anything. The area is stunning, the confort is great, it is a really nice way to go on the countryside. You can stay a week or more but I would definitely suggest to spend more than a week
You help a bit to give food to the animals, lead the camels or some random tasks but there is no pressure at all and we just feel good. The children in the village made the place so authentic as well. Great time, recomend it, I will come back if I can

The whole experience was literally awesome in every aspect whether it is the Hospitality, culture , food , cleanliness , the connection established with each other and the local villagers too , with their camels 🐪❤️ oh.. lovely..! 😌 was sooo goood , I can’t explain. Even Sumer’s family felt like it’s my family , specially his mother “ baeee” 😃 she made so delicious food every day .. Wow..!!!🤩 . I never felt this much happiness ever.
