Desibandhu Farms

We are making a model of Organic Farming. Its an one Acre Land. As we have just started, there is alot of opportunity to learn, explore and give. Volunteers will have a chance to experiment and prove their ideas.

I am a Management Graduate, Husband and Father to a 7 old boy, following my dream of make my own Food Forest and give as much as possible back to the nature. We currently have one Permanent Staff Old Kaka who is expect Cook cum Guard. There are other young men who are also a part of our ongoing works like fencing, construction and farming etc. Volunteers are treated as a family. We welcome them and their ideas and allow or incorporate concepts if possible.

Volunteered here with my 15 year old daughter. It's a small farm with plans to build mud house, vegetable patch and cow sheds. All of this is yet to be ready so we spent most of our time decorating the bamboo shed used for living.
The area is very beautiful so we walked around in the evening enjoying the lovely weather and fresh air. It was a good break from the city life for us and we loved the time spent together.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Desi Bandhu Farm with Sourav Bhai through Worldpackers. I helped with grass cutting, cleaning toilets, organizing the sitting area, and cooking, while also creating videos to capture the essence of farm life. Sourav Bhai’s hospitality made the experience even more memorable. Grateful for this opportunity and excited to explore more with Worldpackers. Thank you!
