Cwm Farm

Because we live in a very beautiful, secluded valley, on the border of Wales near the Black Mountains. The work is varied. We need help with physical jobs, like repairing fences, painting windows, clearing weeds and brambles, gardening etc
Occasionally help with my 4 horses, but that’s not essential. We have an old dog and some chickens.

My husband and I live here. Our children are grown up and live elsewhere. We have a grandson. We will look after you and treat you well, hopefully you will feel at home here. We are 8 miles from the nearest town, the bus is a mile away. I have an electric bike you can use. So we are quite isolated. I am hoping that I will be able to get two people at a time here so you won’t be lonely here.

Sophie and Bruce were wonderful hosts who took great care of us. Everything was well-organized and very reasonable, making for a really enjoyable experience. Their property is beautiful, set in stunning countryside, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Me and my partner had a great time at CWM farm. Sophie and her family were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. The hours and jobs were reasonable and we felt we had a lot of opportunities to explore the local walks and the town Hay, which is beautiful. The property is stunning and couldn’t have asked for anything better, we would highly recommend volunteering here.

Sophie and Bruce are very kind people, always patient and positives.
We spent 2 wonderfull weeks with them.
The house, the bedroom, the food, the countryside, the Little towh of Hay-on-Waye, all were perfect.
Being with them in their home/farm is really a chance.
