Clos du Moulin

We offer a place close to the nature between Jura and the Alps.. but also near the civilisation. The small town of Yverdon is only 4 km away and there are good connections to most interesting places in Switzerland.
You can discover many different activitiesat the farm or (2025 only) help us renovating a house or help with some DIY jobs at the farm
For people with professionnal skills in construction we could maybe also offer paid job and working permit (european citizens only)

We are a small team of open minded people. We like meeting guests from all places in the world.. but we also like some privacy (and I guess, you too). So you will be treated like member of our team, neighbors..but not really part of the family. We need some rest in the evening and on WE and won't be your guides for sightseeing tours..but we provide help and advice to make the best of your stay in Switzerland .. We will share coffee breaks and lunch from monday to friday and provide a well equiped kitchen, plenty of vegetables and all you need for your other meals.

This was my first experience, Liliane is a wonderful, wise woman with excellent cuisine skills! All the family Alan Pierre, Jonathan were very welcoming, my boss in the farm side Jerome was very helpful and always there for explaining how to make the work. I would definitely recommend if yours looking to learn about legumes and fruit, the planting and taking care of them! The work that they do is unique and amazing ! The place is small but very united. It’s very well located you have amazing beaches near by and little roads where to explore walking or bike distance. I can’t wait to go back !

If you're looking to improve your French, this is the perfect place! I practiced daily with locals and other volunteers, which helped me a lot. The work isn’t hard and the tasks are varied—planting, seeding, harvesting—so it never gets boring. Liliane cooks delicious lunches on weekdays, and we can cook in the evenings and weekends using veggies from the farm. She even reimburses us for market groceries. It’s very flexible, we can choose how to complete the 25h. You can also use the electric bikes to explore. There’s a river, a hill, and a lake nearby. The landscape is stunning!

We were lucky to work with Liliane on her ecological farm in Switzerland. Liliane is a determined and skilled woman. We didn’t just work with her, but also with her family and her team of workers, who welcomed us warmly, respectfully, and with a great willingness to teach us.

Together, we participated in the reconstruction of an attic that will serve as a recreational space in a community house. It was an enriching experience where we learned not only about construction techniques and sustainability but also about the value of teamwork, community life, and shared effort. Thanks a lot! ❤️
