Christos’ Family House – Fylakto, Evros, Greece

If you’re looking for an authentic cultural exchange in Greece, this is your place! You’ll work with your hands, eat delicious homemade food, and live in a traditional village surrounded by nature. Our farm is small and peaceful, and you’ll have plenty of time to explore rivers, forests, the Aegean Sea, and even a stunning island. Volunteers become part of our family, not just workers!

My name is Christos. I’m a 72-year-old nature lover and former mayor, now enjoying the simple life of farming and hosting. I love sharing stories, cooking traditional meals, and meeting people from all over the world. Volunteers here are treated with warmth, respect, and generosity. You’ll be well fed, supported, and always included. Hospitality is at the heart of everything we do.

I had an amazing time in Greece thanks to them.
The village was peaceful and surrounded by nature — Samothraki truly felt like a dream. I learned a lot about farming and how it works in Greece. It was such a meaningful experience with a lovely and welcoming family❤️
