Casa Wolaba
Travelers will love our place. In the first floor we have 3 rooms with 6 beds each. These beds are a capsule type bed, which makes it more private . We have hammocks and rocking chairs in the social area, where there is also a TV to watch your favourite programs.
They will also get to know the small town, and will learn about our culture a lot.
We are 4 owners. We have staff for cleaning, bar, activities and reception. We are a great team, and I am sure that every traveler will love to join us. We are very frindly and we like people to feel at home.

My time at Casa Wolaba was amazing! There were many other volunteers at the same time which became close friends over the time. Also, met a loot of international travellers. The tasks as were agreed before and we had quite a lot of time off to enjoy Puerto Viejo. Volunteers can use bikes at any time which makes reaching any point in or outside the city very easy. Communication with the volunteer coordinator was always clear and respectful. Would definitely recommend! Puerto Viejo and Casa Wolaba are incredible :)

This was my first experience of volunteering, i absolutely loved it. The hostel is a really nice place, i met such great people and got great connections with the others volunteers. I loved the vibe of Puerto Viejo, there s not 1000 things to do but it s more about getting to know the culture and live slowly.
Even though we have a training the first few days, i was a bit confused about some aspects of the job cause you are alone during the shift. They changed manager during my stay but maybe it would be good to check a bit more on the volunteer in person and not only on the phone.

My stay at Casa Wolaba was great! The work was fair, everything was as agreed. Marcos and Maria are super friendly, and the other volunteers were great as well. It immediatelly felt like home! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to meet new people and have heaps of fun.
