If you want a quiet place, where you can discover how the authentic Veronese live, away from the tourist frenzy of the ancient city, work in Casa Babbuino would be the right place for you. We are looking for responsible people who can understand and convey our hospitality philosophy. With an informal but professional spirit.

We are Beatrice and Marco, we are married and we are food bloggers. Casa Babbuino is the space we have decided to open to host tourists and small events related to food and wine. Casa Babbuino is a special place that combines the free and sharing spirit of a hostel with the facilities of a medium / high-end hotel. We love situations of sharing and discovering different cultures and, of course, food from all over the world. Volunteers with us are treated as if they are part of our family. They must have a passion for cooking, because for sure we will ask them to make us something good from their country!

A place where one can really feel at home.

My experience in Casa Babbuino was fantastic! I improved my italian and got the chance to meet nice people.

The team is just amazing, and everything one has to do as a task -specially with the team, is always filled with amusement and caring. I only regret staying for just one month but for sure i will come back, but until then i will be singing “oh mio babbuino caro”!

My first volunteer experience, and it couldn’t have been better! Staying in Casa Babbuino was incredible! Bea and Marko were absolutely amazing from the very beginning. They are incredibly kind, loving, and always ready to help with anything you need. The place itself is stunning, beautiful surroundings and a perfect location that offers both peace and easy access to everything. We also met Debora, a lovely person! The volunteer tasks were simple, well organized, and done in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. We learned a lot, had so much fun, and definitely come back!

Casa Babbuino was the perfect place for our first volunteering experience. The house is beautiful, full of personality, and very well located! close to everything. Our room was super comfortable, and we felt at home. Bea is super organized, the tasks were clear and easy, and communication was always great. Débora guided us during two events and gave us amazing tips about Verona. Bea and Marco have incredible energy (and Marco make a great gin & tonic!). Thank you for everything, hope to come back soon! Bea and Marco were the best hosts I could hope for. They were warm, generous, and so nice to help immerse me as much as possible in Italian culture. I had a lot of questions and they were more than willing to answer them and talk to me in slow Italian so I can learn. There is everything you need around the hotel and more. Incredible restaurants, grocery stores, coffee... The room and bathroom are very nice and new and clean. It was important to have my own space and bathroom and I felt very accommodated. I look forward to returning. Grazie mille !
