Canvas Hostel
We take pride in offering accommodation that surpasses any other guesthouse.
We can host up to 8 volunteers and are creating programs where volunteers and travelers can connect and share cultural experiences together.
We respect one another. We treat each other with kindness and never make unreasonable or disrespectful demands. I was once a traveler too—and I still travel whenever I can. I hope we can all treat each other with mutual respect and stay committed to our roles. It’s my wish that every traveler who visits our hostel leaves with wonderful memories and a desire to return someday.

I had a good time at Canvas Hostel !
I was well welcomed and the shift was very clear and respected.
The dorm was super comfortable and the hostel was very cozy and 5 min away from Haeundae Beach and 15 min walk from the Haeundae Main Street.
(Just note that although in a very touristic area it is quite far from the center of Busan)
The housekeeping could be sport on the week-end but the staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast shift was really great and a good new experience.
I recommend if you want to relax and chill in a cozy environment :)

From the canvas hostel you can walk to the beach and also have many shops and convenience stores nearby, as well as good bus and metro connections.
The hostel is very beautiful and you will have your own space (you can close a curtain for more privacy) or hang out in the lobby and make new friends. Recently they even bought a washing machine!
The host is very kind and organised a chicken and beer party for us.
Working for the breakfast was very relaxing. The housekeeping kept me active but it was fun doing it together with the volunteers and staff!
I really recommend it and wanna come back!!♡

I had a wonderful time volunteering at Canvas Hostel ☀️ Danny, Chung-In and the whole team were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and made the place easy to settle into. The housekeeping tasks were well-structured and manageable, mostly involving changing linens and cleaning common areas. I highly recommend this experience ☺️

One month in canvas, met lots of interesting friends. The job was not too heavy, I could have enough time and energy to explore other places of the city. Danny is kind and supportive, a really impressive volunteer experience.
