It was an incredible experience, Judith is a great person, who surprunsingly enough does truly care about you as a person and not only a volunteer. Obviously you still have to be committed and do your part but the work was what we had agreed upon and if anything extra needed to be done they would first ask if that was okay with me. The hours might be just a little too much but once you have free time and realize you are in the middle of the mountains it all makes sense again. Would totally recommend!

Folke stayed with us for two weeks at the alpHotel and was an absolute pleasure to host. He was reliable, cheerful, and hardworking, helping with housekeeping, lighting the hotpot, mowing the lawn, and various outdoor tasks.

He showed great social skills, got along well with guests and the team, and always had a positive attitude. Folke works independently, takes initiative, and fits in easily.

We’d be happy to welcome him back anytime and can highly recommend him to other hosts!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I could not have asked for a better place and environment.
First off, the location. The landscape was the most dramatic I’ve ever seen.
The work was good with a clear schedule. I did mostly housekeeping but filled in where needed.
The hotel is extremely cozy and authentic and has a very homely vibe. That homely feeling is reproduced in the staff which is welcoming, funny and very kind.
The meals are all made from the chefs at the hotel and are top quality.
I have nothing but good things to say about my stay and sincerely recommend staying here!

I spent a month working there, and it was such a rewarding experience. The work was smooth and enjoyable, but what stood out the most was the beautiful nature around me. The team was friendly and supportive, making every day feel positive and fulfilling in that environment.
