Alicantissima | Luggage Storage Lounge

1. At least 2 days off per week
Have some time off for yourself, go explore the city or rest for a while.
I always suggest: go to the beach!

2. Private Room
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you (with desk too).

3. Meals
I provide breakfast and there is a kitchen so you can cook your own meals.

4. Free Laundry
You can use our laundry room as much as you need.

5. I give a bus card to explore the city and also a bike.

Life is too short, don't die before you live it.
So enjoy & have fun!

With a plus: Alicante is an amazing city to turn this experience unforgetable.

Overall, my stay was a positive experience. Pedro made an effort to be welcoming from the beginning, and the work itself was very easy. The schedule was flexible but one thing I would improve here is being more respectful when it comes to our free time- many times I would get texts after hours, which made me feel like I needed to be available all day. Moreover, clearer guidelines and more open communication regarding expectations from the start would help avoid any confusion or uncomfortable situations. Other than that I would recommend! :)

Alicantissima is an excellent project, whose tasks are easy and the hours of work are few compared to the much free time you have. At the beginning it is a bit complicated but once you understand the way Pedro manages Alicantissima everything improves and becomes simpler. As for accommodation, also in this case it is managed in an unusual way so you have to understand how to manage yourself for everyday life

This was my first volunteer experience. As a deaf volunteer, I initially felt welcomed, which I appreciated. However, I left after one week instead of the planned three due to the host’s inappropriate and uncomfortable behavior. I wish he had made an effort to communicate respectfully with me and the other volunteer instead of reacting with anger.

Worldpackers is not a summer festival. Next time remember that and try to go out to have fun without arrive home at 8am.

Alicante is beautiful, but my experience at Alicante and Pedro was not as expected. Most of the information contained in your profile was not provided. I worked more hours than expected, on services outside of the description, and did not have two days off. After 7 days, I decided to leave in tears after being left alone to serve customers who did not speak my language and when I called Pedro, I felt disrespected when I heard words that I would not wish on anyone. During this period, I developed anxiety because I did not have defined schedules and tasks, and everything I did was not enough.
