Alex & Sofi Hotel
We believe that by volunteering in our hotel apart from gaining a lifelong experience and many memories you will be able to learn new skills and techniques. But more importantly you will be able to learn about our culture and our habits.
The owners as well as the staff treat each other with respect and honesty, so there is no doubt that the volunteers will be treated in the same exact way. We hope that our information were helpful and looking forward in our cooperation!

A experiência foi ótima. Fiquei ajudando no mercado que fica do lado do hotel. Meu trabalho era basicamente colocar mantimentos nas geladeiras e também organizá-los nas prateleiras, função de repositor.
Tive a oportunidade de praticar bastante o inglês todos os dias e também conhecer voluntários que estavam noutros locais da Livadhi beach, o que fez com que minha experiência fosse ainda melhor e mais divertida.
O hotel fica num local mais afastado do centro, como se fosse numa vila e o local é bom para aproveitar muito a praia, super bonita, e fazer trilhas.

Jordânio was a great volunteer to have with us! He was responsible, organized, and handled his daily tasks at the market with care and consistency. Always positive and willing to help, he brought good energy to the team and made the experience pleasant for everyone. I loved staying with Anita and her sweet family at Alex & sofi’s. They make you feel welcome and treat you like family. I highly recommend staying with them!
Housekeeping can be hard work, but the work hours are respected. At the end of the work day, you have tons of time to swim and relax.
The hotel is right on the sea and located on a gorgeous stretch of beach. If you’re a little adventurous, there are hiking trails you can take to get to the center of Himarë. You can take trails in the other direction to get to Aquarium and Guma beaches.

Kaitlyn was one of the loveliest volunteers we’ve hosted. She was responsible, motivated, and handled her housekeeping tasks with dedication. Always adaptable and proactive, she made daily routines much easier. Beyond her work, Kaitlyn’s warm, friendly, and positive personality brought great energy to our place. I had an amazing time at Alex & Sofi hotel. Sofi and her family were extremely welcoming and ensured I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The cleaning tasks were simple and enjoyable to complete. While I was there, there were two other cleaners who I worked and interacted with. All the meals were delicious and traditional! The location of the hotel is perfect for a quiet experience, near markets and privatised beaches. The Andrea Market (located next to the hotel) is well stocked with any snacks you may want. I want to thank Sofi, her family and the other staff for a wonderful stay.

This was a beautiful experience. Sofi's family was really warm with me and they treat me as part of their family. I highlly recommend this volunteer because of the experience (tasks are really easy if you enjoy to clean), the family, the place (Himare is beautiful) in front of the beach ... everything was 10/10. Thank you so much Sofi and family!! including Loco ♡ (the dog)
