I volunteered in the Aguita Surf Lodge and had a really lovely experience there. I met some truly wonderful people 😊 The place was really quiet and offered a lot of privacy, which I personally appreciated a lot. I can imagine that younger volunteers looking for more of a “social vibe” might expect something different, but for me it was perfect! 🌞
We were three volunteers sharing the tasks, which worked really well. In the beginning we were only two and that part was a bit more tiring, but once the team was complete everything felt smooth and easy! 👍 Thanks for the Time!!

My experience at Aguita Surf Lodge was amazing. During one month I had the chance to connect with travelers from all over the world, join activities around the island, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with flexible working hours. I learned a lot, had fun, and felt part of a big family.

Las tareas son sencillas, tal como se indica, recepción y limpieza de habitaciones, baños y zonas comunes. Se respetan los horarios y si tienes cualquier problema lo puedes hablar sin problema. Gabri es súper amable y cercana! El hostel tiene una ubicación inmejorable y una terraza que te permite disfrutar del mar a todas horas. Un experiencia genial que recomendaría sin duda 🤗

Volunteering at Aguita Surf Lodge was such a great experience! The hostel itself is super chill and quiet, which I really liked, and if you want more social vibes you can always head over to Aguita House to hang out.
The owner and manager are awesome, super friendly and easy to talk to. The other volunteers honestly felt like a second family, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a place that’s relaxed but still gives you the chance to meet amazing people, this is definitely it!

Hermosa experiencia! El trabajo es muy tranquilo, el lugar es lindo, hay espacio, luz, muy cerca de la playa, bares, centro comercial, miradores, me sentí como en casa, pude disfrutar de mis días, descansar, ir a la playa. El ambiente me permitió tener paz y cuando quería salir me reunía con la gente de Aguita House (hostal parceiro). Tenemos mucho tiempo libre y nos valoran como personas casi como una familia. Muchas gracias por la oportunidad! Recomiendo esta experiencia. Gracias Gabri y todo el equipo 🫶
Extrañaré los viernes de bachata y las muchas risas!
