Agriturismo Cassina Enco

Travelers should choose to volunteer with us because we offer much more than just a place to stay — it’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect. From daily activities that teach practical skills, to cultural exchange moments around the table, we value community and shared experiences. Our goal is to make each volunteer feel part of something meaningful while enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.

We’re a small but dedicated team, passionate about what we do and happy to welcome people from all over the world. Volunteers can expect open communication, respect, and support during their stay. We believe in treating everyone as part of the family, sharing meals, stories, and skills, and ensuring that the experience is rewarding both for the project and for the volunteers.

I got to learn a lot about sustainability, living on a farm, and restaurant work. The animals were adorable and the sons made me feel very welcomed. We often had visitors from the area and it was nice to feel immersed in the local community. The food Cristina made was amazing. It was a fun week here with the family!

Christina and her family were amazing hosts! We were fully immersed in her beautiful agriturismo for the week, surrounded by mountains and farm animals. We helped her with the daily tasks needed on the farm whether that be shucking chestnuts, making soap, gathering plants from her garden, or helping out when guests arrive.
We thoroughly enjoyed connecting with the locals from the town and connecting with the nature. Thanks for a great week, Christina!

Christina and her family (and her lovely animals) were amazing hosts! The tasks change day to day depending on what needs to be done at the farm. Weekends are the busy days, helping with the guests that come to eat. We learned about chestnut farming, how to make soap from ash, the products Christina sells, and what it takes to run her lovely agriturismo!
We couldn’t have asked for a better first Worldpackers experience, we learned so much about northern Italian culture. Not to mention the food and surrounding nature was absolutely amazing ☺️

Cristina and her 2 sons are very welcoming, it truly feels like ur at home. The place is very peaceful, surrounded by green, also pretty isolated for those who like a quiet place to stay. The work is pretty dependent on the season that you arrive on so i would keep that in mind if you have a specific task you had in mind.
