I am Andrea Alagna, Sicilian d.o.c. in love with kitesurfing since 2001.
I am the founder of AA Marsala Kitesurf, a Kitesurf and Winfoil center at Stagnone di Marsala in Sicily, one of the best places in Europe for kitesurfing!
My team and I love the sea, sports and this splendid place that everyone falls in love with. Wind almost every day, unique landscapes and one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world!

I am a true Local and a good part of our team is Local, you will know the unmistakable Sicilian culture and you will immediately become part of it. We are now more of a family than a team and after work we love to relax in front of a cold drink. If, like us, you are a fan of water sports (kitesurf - wingfoil - Sup), you can use the equipment of our center for free in your free time, all the latest generation North Sail equipment. If you have never practiced this sport, we are willing to teach you everything!

Me gustó mucho esta experiencia, pasé un mes increíble, aprendí mucho, estuve mucho en la playa. Respecto a Andrea siempre fue atento ante todas mis dudas y es una buena persona. En cuanto al apartamento para los voluntarios siento que está bien, pero se podrían mejorar algunas cosas. Para el trabajo Había que ir en bicicleta 10 minutos y las vistas eran maravillosas. La pasé bien, sin embargo me hubiera gustado sumergirme más en la cultura y en el deporte como tal, pero siento que me quedé atrás por las otras voluntarias que estaban, pero bueno, disfrute y viaje estando ahí. It’s a beautiful location with incredibly kind and outgoing people. The work is very relaxed.
We were a bit shocked by the condition of the apartment since the previous volunteers had left it quite dirty and broken. After texting Andrea a few times most of the things got fixed.
This place is perfect for learning kitesurf and it’s such an amazing sport. There is not a fixed number of Kite lessons. You need to ask each time, but if you are outgoing it’s not a problem.
I can absolutely recommend it to any ocean lover and everyone who want to live the island lifestyle for a few weeks :))

Never do this volunteering!
I’ve just finished my time with Andrea and his team, and I can only warn you: you’ll arrive as a stranger and leave with tears in your eyes.

You’ll share a simple flat with strangers who quickly become family. Days are sun, laughter, and kitesurfing (which you’ll hate at first, then love). Nights are stories you’ll never forget.

It’s not just volunteering, it’s adapting, learning, and falling in love with Sicily and the people who make it magic.

This job is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to learn kitesurfing, interact with the local team daily, and practice Italian. The community here is welcoming, kind, and helpful. Every day you get to hang out at the beach and assist customers with their kites. I will cherish the memories and community at AA Marsala kitesurf, hoping to come back again!

This was an amazing experience Andrea is a legend of a host and the community he’s made are awesome.

I was lucky enough to be there with some good wind so I was able to do my lessons before and after my shifts then eventually get to the point of working on tricks.

If you’re wanting to get stuck in to the kite life for a while I can’t recommend this place enough, just be prepared that if you live with great volunteers and fall in love with the sport like me, you’re gonna have a hard time leaving. 🤙
