The hotel was a lovely volunteer experience! The private room and bathoom were great, I felt welcomed by the host, and the work was straightforward. It was difficult to meet people as it is a hotel (not a hostel) so there isn't really a social vibe, however it would be perfect for someone with existing connections in Medellín.

Bom, vou escrever esse texto em português direcionado aos viajantes do Brasil. O Carlos antes de tudo é uma pessoa incrível! Super atencioso, educado e disposto a ajudar nos primeiros dias até que você se adapte ao trabalho. O trabalho em si é super tranquilo, você vai trabalhar na parte da tarde/noite na recepção com check-in e no whatsapp respondendo algumas perguntas que os hóspedes fazem. Nesse sentido é importante ter o espanhol bem afinado já que 90% do tempo você fala em espanhol e os outros 10% em inglês.

Solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento para el hotel donde he vivido y trabajado por un mes, y me he sentido como en casa. Por cuestiones personales no he podido extender la estadía pero si hubiera podido sin duda lo hubiera hecho. Gracias a Carlos por darme la oportunidad de ir y a Luis por estar siempre atento y venir siempre con un a sonrisa, a Sara y Yamilet siempre tan dispuestas a ayudarte y escucharte. Sin duda ha sido un mes que nunca olvidaré.Los horarios normalmente son por la tarde-noche y tienes flexibilidad para escoger tus días libres y el trabajo a realizar es sencillo y ameno.

Pasé 3 semanas en el hotel Hostel - los dueños y el encargado de recepción, Hernan son muy amables y atentos. Hostel tiene instalaciones muy buenas, todo esta limpio y nuevo - lo que falta son los huéspedes. No es buen lugar para hacer voluntariado porque no se brinda ningún tipo de intercambio cultural, no se puede socializar, uno se siente inútil. La ubicación del hostel no ayuda, esta retirado, se encuentra en un bario industrial donde no hay instalaciones que buscan los viajeros. Hostel el hotel tiene un buen equipo y les deseo que tengan más movida de huéspedes! Gracias 🤗

El hotel Hostel fue como una segunda casa, Carlos siempre me recibió como una más del equipo es muy querido. El hostal es muy cómodo, limpio y tranquilo, esta ubicado en un buen barrio, si lo que buscas es tranquilidad este es tu lugar😌

I had a great time at Hostel the hotel! The tasks were easy, with plenty of time off to discover Medellin. The hostel is in a calm, locals-y neighbourhood outside the main tourist centre, so great for someone looking for a more authentic experience. All the team are lovely as well, and the hostel is clean and well equipped. However, just to mind that there are not so many guests and other volunteers, so meeting lots of new people through the hostel this could be complicated, but for a remote worker/someone more independent, it's perfect!

Que increíble fue la experiencia en el hotel, me sentí cómoda, Carlos y Luis siempre fueron atentos conmigo, el personal en el hostal es muy amigable, mejore mi inglés con actividades cerca del voluntariado,fueron muy amables.Recomiendo 100% tuve la oportunidad de sumergirme en la cultura local.

The owners Carlos and Luis are extremely pleasant and reasonable people who made my stay very comfortable and made me feel right at home. The facilities at the Hostel are very clean and appropriate for your stay. The work assigned is very straightforward and simple. Paired with reasonable hours, this made for a very pleasant experience. Not to mention how well located the hostel is physically, with great food and shops surrounding it. It is not that far away from a Metro station and is within walking distance of El Poblado.

Carlos & Luis built a really nice place to stay with this hotel, in the heart of Cristo Rey, a truly local barrio ! The room is super comfy, the hotel got everything to feel like at home and the work is super simple ! Grateful for this opportunity to enjoy Medellin while staying in a comfortable environment!

Fue una experiencia muy rica y inolvidable. Gracias a Carlos y Luis por sus acogidas muy calorosas, me sentí inmediatamente cómo a casa! Todavía el hostel no tenía muchos huéspedes en este momento, era muy tranquilo. Las tareas son fáciles da realizar y se hay que preguntar cualquier cosa, puedes estar seguro que Carlos será disponible para ayudar y asistir. Mil gracias por la experiencia, volveré!
