I absolutely loved my time at the hotel. Luis and Carlos, the owners, were so welcoming and easy to work with. The administrator and the lady at reception were also incredibly helpful and kind. The neighborhood is very well located, and you can find everything you need nearby. Something to keep in mind is that this isn't as social as a youth hostel, so you need to be independent and proactive if you want to meet new people. Overall, I had a great experience, and I hope to come back in the future!

Qué experiencia increíble. Carlos y Luis son simplemente maravillosos. El trabajo es super sencillo y Hernan siempre estaba pendiente por cualquier cosa! Yamileth también fue super amable conmigo. El hostal es una joya, limpio y ordenado. El barrio es muy tranquilo y cerca de la estación del metro, así que pude disfrutar de la ciudad. Muchas gracias por esta experiencia y ojalá pueda volver pronto a Medellín a visitarlos!

Me encantó hacer voluntariado con el equipo del hotel Hostel. Hernán y Carlos son súper acogedores y accesibles. El trabajo es muy sencillo y tranquilo. El ambiente del hostel también es muy tranquilo. La casa es bonita con cocina, balcón, tele comunal, y internet. Me encantó conocer a los otros voluntarios, llevo muy bonitos recuerdos del tiempo que pasé acá :))

100% recomendable, el hotel Hostel es un lugar tranquilo y limpio. Respecto al trabajo muy sencillo, se respetan las horas, las instalaciones estan siempre limpias y adecuadas para vivir. Hernan 10/10 siempre dispuesto a ayudar y escucha nuevas ideas y su trato inmejorable

El hotel para mi se ha convertido en mi segunda casa, sin duda lo recomiendo, tareas sencillas y bien explicadas desde el primer momento, horarios flexibles y un trato familiar por parte de todo el equipo, sin duda repetiría una y mil veces

I was at the hostel. You stay with three other people in a room (2 bunk beds). The work is very manageable. It is just 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, and you spend that time sitting at a desk and there is not much action. The manager, Hernán, is probably the most polite and respectful boss I have ever had. There are lots of restaurants very nearby. I will say, it is a customer-facing role, and most of the guests speak Spanish, so do not go with beginner to medium level Spanish abilities with the intent to learn, because you will not be able to do the job.

It was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't ask for a better one! The tasks were super easy and I never felt as I was actually working, also thanks to Hernan who was always friendly and kind. The hostel is great: it's new and always super clean, comfortable to stay and live. The only thing that was different than agreed was the room: I was supposed to have a private one or a shared one with another volunteer, but I ended up sharing it with all 4 volunteers. It was not a big problem anyway. Best thing was to make friends from every part of the world and creating such a nice group!

Tengo que agradecer primero la oportunidad que me dió el hotel Hostel, al aceptarme como voluntario. Para nosotros viajeros, el hotel Hostel es la mejor opción, desde el tema de la zona en donde se encuentra ubicado, es barato y muy seguro. El staff es increíble, siempre con la disponibilidad de ayudar.

Mi primera experiencia como voluntaria y fue maravillosa. Siempre me sentí como en casa, tranquila y acompañada. El hotel es lindo, está bien cuidado y tanto los horarios como las tareas se cumplen tal como se acordó. Carlos, Luis y Ana son personas increíbles ¡Mil gracias siempre para ellos! Sin duda, un lugar más que recomendado

Fue una experiencia increíble, Carlos es una persona maravillosa y Sara también. El hostel siempre está limpio, está muy bien ubicado y tiene un espacio de coworking increíble. La conexión a Internet es muy buena, por lo que es un lugar excelente para trabajar. Me quedé un mes en el Hostel el hotel y extraño mucho a todos. Vale muchísimo la pena hospedarse allí.
