Volunteering at the project is an opportunity that cannot be missed. From the moment I got to Bocas Del Toro, I felt very welcomed. It was a great opportunity to learn about lion fish, and invasive species that Emilio has immense knowledge on. His goals of sustainability and limiting plastic waste are clear, and carried out on a day to day basis. Day to day tasks included cleaning the warehouse, transforming a lion fish into sustainable jewelry and much more. I have never had a Worldpackers experience where I have been so free at the same time. You have a lot of time to explore on your own

Mi experiencia fue muy buena, me encantó el trabajo. Hice artesanias y aprendi un monton sobre el lion fish y todas sus problematicas. Tuve que irme antes por motivos personales, pero recomiendo el voluntariado a quienes les interesa aprender sobre proyectos sustentables!

La experiencia estuvo de 10, Emilio es un anfitrión excelente, cumplió con todo, y me explicó muchísimas cosas. Recomiendo el lugar 100% para un buen voluntariado en donde se puede aprender y socializar.

Overall I had an amazing experience with the project. I only stayed two weeks because I had limited time, but in the short period of time I had I felt very welcome. Emilio the host was so kind and showed me around the island on our days off. The work was very interesting and everyday I learnt something new about the project, reef and or environment. Bocas del toro is a beautiful part of the project and doing this volunteer here was a highlight to my travel, i definetly recommend this volunteer to anyone:)

EMILIO ES DIVERTIDO, BUENA PERSONA Y FLEXIBLE! El trabajo que hice fue joyeria con el pez leon y su venta. aprendi mucho sobre sostenibilidad.El hospedaje es acogedor pero tiene bastantes cucarachas voladoras. A parte de ello, Emilio realiza comidas conjuntas con el pez, y deja usar las bicicletas.

El proyecto es bueno y Emilio muy flexible, durante el tiempo que estuve siempre tuvo la mejor disposición y logré aprender nuevas cosas. Respecto al lugar, no es muy limpio porque es dentro de una bodega pero estuvo bien.
