It s a perfect volontariat we was welcoming in cute house with kindly and respectful family. We work fews hours with katchan in farm and beautiful place (with the view of mont Fuji). Katchan is patient and he learned us his knows. We enjoyed the work at farm We eat every day very good meal by miyuki (and healthy) We had also discover traditional activists with the family (meditation with monk in amazing temple, matcha ceremony, party with friend and try many food, made bamboo glass, eat river noodle …) we share good moment together Thanks a lot for all we keep good memories 🥰

My experience was, in a word: exceptional! This family is full of generosity and culture. You can really see that they want you to have a good experience and learn about their culture. I worked on the farm for an average of 3 hours a day. The view is incredible! I recommend it to anyone who wants to see real life in rural Japan. A great experience for me!

The experience was truly amazing and I definitely recommend for anyone willing to imerge in the Japanese countryside lifestyle! The kindest family and hosts, great meals, beautiful landscapes, a charming traditional house and some days of land work - which can be very good for the mind and body. Miyuki and Babba are incredible and Cashan is a great and inspirational leader. Thank you so much for having me. Hope to see you all again sometime 🩵

I don't know where to start… Miyuki, Katchan and Baba are so welcoming and lovely! It immediately felt like home. The work is different from day to day. It was so nice, and I did a lot of things I never did before. The food was so good and tried so many new things! Miyuki, Katchan and Baba were all so caring and sweet. They care so much about your wellbeing. Thank you so much, I couldn't recommend them more!!❤️

I had the best time here!! From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and safe in their home. Work varied day to day depending on what needed to be done, which kept it very interesting and fulfilling! Miyuki and Kastu went above and beyond to make sure I had a good time by taking me and another volunteer to see some local attractions! I will also never forget the delicious meals we shared everyday! If you are looking for a home away from home do not hesitate to come here! Thank you Miyuki, Katsu, BaBa, and of course Maachan🐱for the amazing experience!

I can't recommend this home enough, Miyuki, Baba and Katchan make this feel truly like a home. The work is more than reasonable and you get to connect with nature the whole time. I loved working outdoors and Katchan help us the whole time so it was easy to learn and enjoy from his experience. The food is also very good and more than enough, I'm a vegetarian and they always considered my diet when cooking.

Miyajima is one of the most welcoming places I have ever been to. Everyone's kindness and generosity are so palpable every day. I helped with the farm, from planting potatoes and seeds to basic maintenance tasks around the farm. Katsu and Miyuki are very considerate of our time and energy, but it felt so good to be able to help them with their farm and beautiful home. This place is so beautiful perched up on a hill overlooking a lovely valley with occasional hellos from Mt Fuji. We biked after work to explore the town, its temples, and its bakeries! I will miss everyone so much!

This was the best work away I have been to. I had an amazing time with Miyuki and her family who are warm hosts; they will invite you into their home and life. There was variety in the tasks, amazing food and plenty of time to explore the area. If you're interested in rural/countryside Japan and you don't mind hopping on a bike to explore then this is the place for you! You will need to make a separate day trip to see Mount Fuji in its entirety. I highly recommend working with these incredible hosts, it was a hard place to leave. It's always nice to find somewhere that feels like home abroad!

I'm so grateful for this farm experience. Besides being able to work at the grape field, I have gained a lot of insights while interacting with Miyuki-san, Kat-chan and Baba. They are a lovely family who was always very kind and generous to share more about Japan and Japanese culture. It truly felt like a real home away from home after months of travelling. The view of Mount Fuji and the daily lunch & dinner were amazing for me. I won't forget the good memories and good energy of this place! ありがとうございます
