Eu não sei nem por onde começar. Desde o dia em que cheguei fui excelentemente recebida em uma acomodação aconchegante e com bastante espaço. Se você estiver procurando por um lugar para se conectar com a natureza, com os animais e praticar seu inglês o abrigo é o lugar para isso. Todos os Staffs e cuidadores do abrigo são super amigáveis, gentis, divertidos e prestativos. Me senti super à vontade com todas as pessoas e animais. Tenho muito que agradecer pois tive uma primeira experiência maravilhosa e recomendo para todos que tem vontade de vir para cá!

I had a beautiful experience at ARA! It is such a happy place! I met a lot of wonderful people here and working was always fun. With the animals you can spend as much time as you want to socialize them. Also the team was always very nice, helpful and lovely. Everyone here cares about the welfare of the animals. ARA was a great time for me. I was here for 4 weeks, but it felt like one. The staff and the other volunteers are very nice and helpful. The working hours are as described or even less, so that you can spend the rest of the shift socializing with the dogs. You also spend a lot of time with the dogs outside of shifts. These are all unique, you start to like them all and really enjoy the time. I can definitely recommend ARA! Hopefully I'll come back at some point :)

This place is simply wonderful! I can highly recommend working there: Good working hours, really friendly stuff-members and volunteers, a beautiful surrounding and the most important: Wonderful dogs! The time in the shelter has enriched my life. I have been there twice and I am already planning when I will come back: Once you've been here, you always want to come back! This place is a place for dogs to heal, but also for people :)

Their natural connection with dogs shone through during walks. Whether it was patiently coaxing a shy pup out of its shell or engaging in playful romps with our energetic ones, Julia and Fernanda always knew how to put each dog at ease and make their outing enjoyable. Their attentiveness to their individual needs and genuine love for all things canine were evident in every wagging tail and happy face.

But Julia and Fernada talents went far beyond walks. When it came to keeping our facilities clean and organized, they was a whirlwind of efficiency! From scrubbing kennels to disinfecting toys, they tackled every task with meticulousness and a genuine desire to create a comfortable and hygienic environment for our animals. Their dedication to cleanliness didn't go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for her efforts in making the shelter a welcoming space for all.

Beyond their practical contributions also brought a warmth and positive energy that spread throughout the shelter. They spent time socializing with cats and shy dogs, offering cuddles and gentle words that brought out their purrs and playful side. It was clear that they genuinely enjoyed their company, and the animals responded in kind.

While we are sad to see them go, we are incredibly grateful for the incredible contribution they made during her short time with us. Her dedication, hard work, and genuine love for animals left a lasting paw print on our hearts and the lives of the animals in our care.

I'm extremely grateful for the time I got to spend in ARA. It was one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had in my life. They promote such a safe environment for the dogs and cats to live, to recover and to learn how to be loved again. The staff does an amazing job finding these animals a forever home too! These 2 weeks I've spent there were fantastic, it is really nice to see that there are lots of people who actually care about these animals and make all efforts to give them the best in every aspect: from the food, to the daily walks and all the love they receive.
