So the hostel is beautiful, the food (especially the breakfast) is amazing, Flores is adorable, and the hosts and staff are amazing. Meeting this people was the highlight of my time there. BUT there is definitely a lot of space for improvement. The volunteers don't live at the hostel - we live in a nearby house that is basically falling apart. And the job itself, even though is pretty easy, is very unorganized. I was there during a change in management so I believe it's usually better but it was a real mess in the beginning. Still, the place has so much potencial and I still had a lot of fun!

Minha experiência foi maravilhosa! Fui muito bem recebida pelo staf, e o time de voluntários foi incríveis. O trabalho é tranquilo, com tarefas como promover atividades e ajudar no bar e restaurante. Porém, há pontos a melhorar. As acomodações dos voluntários não são no hostel, não têm água quente e funcionam como depósito, com fluxo constante de pessoas. A janta oferecida, especialmente para vegetarianos, deixa a desejar. Além disso, os voluntários às vezes ficam sozinhos no bar, o que torna a organização excessivamente dependente deles, algo que considero inadequado. Mas amo muito Flores ❤

De los mejores voluntariados que tuve la suerte de encontrar! El segundo día que llegue nos llevaron a todxs lxs voluntarixs a hacer un tour a una playa hermosa, las comidas eran una más rica que la otra, y la casa donde dormiamos muy cómoda también ya que te permitia tener tu espacio con tus compañeros y generar mas unidad.. Hay muchos beneficios para voluntarios y muchas cosas para hacer en Flores 🌺 Después de un mes se convirtieron en familia y lxs voy a extrañar mucho, gracias por todo ♥️♥️♥️

I loved my time at the hostel! The staff is absolutely lovely and it was so hard for me to say goodbye. Everyone is super open hearted and welcomes you immediately. I worked in the night bar and from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.. You have to be aware that you will most likely party a lot, drink alcohol (if you want) and stay up really late. The volunteers live in a different house with kitchen and living room. Everything is simple but still nice. I met amazing people in my time there and created memories I will always remember! Thank you Georgie and the staff for everything <3!!

Me gustó mucho mi experiencia en the hostel, por la comida, ubicación y respetar las labores acordadas, la Isla Flores es muy bonita y tranquila, dentro del voluntariado hay muchas opciones de poder generar dinero para continuar tu viaje y eso es un plus a comparación con otros voluntariados, yo enseñé yoga y tuve mi espacio y soporte de todos para realizar mis clases, es muy fácil ser the hostel de todos, las vibras son positivas y las personas que trabajan ahí son muy felices y eso agrada mucho a la hora de convivir aquí. Tendrás mucha ayuda y comprensión

Overall had a good time volunteering at the hostel everyone was friendly and helpful I mainly worked in the garden bar which was a great place to work. I am vegan and they were accomodating of this just make sure to be clear to kitchen staff when you order your dinner. Make sure to check your room has AC as it's hot in Flores!

El hostal fue una experiencia hermosa. Todo el staff es un amor, la comida es deliciosa, un ambiente fiestero pero relajado en el día. La verdad estoy sumamente agradecida por la hospitalidad que me brindaron y espero volver algún día. Muchas gracias ❤️

La experiencia fue hermosa!!! Disfruté mucho estar en el hostel, la energía del equipo y personal del hostel te hace sentir como en casa, siempre tuvieron increíble disposición y energía conmigo. Las tareas son bastante fáciles, incluso de aprender si no tienes experiencia en el area, tendras tiempo de disfrutar de la Isla y de otros lugares turísticos. recomiendo esta experiencia al 100% gracias a todos por recibirme y hacerme sentir bien acogida. 😊

My four weeks at the hostel were far more than I expected in the best way possible. Teaching yoga in the mornings and working reception in the evenings was the perfect schedule for me. The volunteer house is separate from the hostel which allows the volunteers to really bond and get to know each other well. Meals are delicious and be sure to do all the tours you can with the discounts. Heads up: Learn/practice as much Spanish as you can before you arrive and bring LOTS of mosquito repellent as there's many in Flores. Muchas gracias! <3

It was an all round amazing experience. The staff here are so kind and friendly, I really recommend learning peoples names and integrating yourself, trust me its well worth it. Between work days and days off it's a lot of fun and you get to have a great experience at almost no cost!
