This was my first time volunteering in a hostel, and it was a short (about 10 days) but great experience. The place is small, colorful, and cozy, giving off a very laid-back atmosphere. Everyone there was so nice, and there are cool events to join almost every day. The job is pretty straightforward and not time-consuming at all, giving you plenty of time to explore the gorgeous and lively city of Edinburgh. 100% recommend. I had an amazing time at RMB!

I had an incredible experience volunteering at RMB. It's a cozy little hostel in the heart of Edinburgh with a amazing vibe. They respect hours and offer great flexibility, the location is great, and there's always fun events to attend. I'm grateful for the time I've spent here!

This was truly an unforgettable experience. I had so much fun here, made so many good friends, and explored so much of Edinburgh. It is the only volunteering opportunity that I have extended my stay at, so if that doesn't tell you how great it is, come see for yourself. 🫶

It was amazing month I had in the hostel, I've got the opportunity to take people out for events, made so much friends and great chat with people from all over the world, Kat and jack are so supportive and I always have a great laugh with them!!! Definitely recommend!

Volunteering at RMB is one of the best decisions you can make when coming to Edinburgh. The hours are exactly as promised and they're super accomodating with requests, location is impeccable, the place is so cosy and colourful, the people are incredible, and there's always fun events to attend. Most importantly, the team here really do feel like a big family even if you've been here for five minutes. I've never stayed in a hostel that felt so safe and cheerful!

I highly recommend RMB! This was my first ever hostel experience and I was quite nervous at first but all my worries went away as soon as I arrived. It was such a wonderful place full of beautiful people. The working hours were set and easy to follow, the tasks were straight forward. Kat and Jack were great at answering any questions that I had. The other volunteers were so friendly and I enjoyed going to all the fun events that the hostel had to offer. The hostel is located in the best location, making it easy to make your way around the city. It truly did feel like a big family!

I had a great time at RMB! The location is in the perfect spot to see the whole city. I was able to go on hikes and sightseeing every day. The other volunteers were lovely and always had suggestions of things to do and see. The hours are very well organized and very flexible. I HIGHLY recommend doing one of the tours they offer at a discounted rate uo to the highlands. Hoping to be back later this year to volunteer again :)

Ha sido una experiencia magnífica. Era la primera vez que hacía un voluntariado así y creo que es una muy buena manera de poder conocer otros países y culturas sin gastar tanto dinero. Lo recomiendo por la ubicación y la hospitalidad del hostal.
