I had the best time volunteering at the hostel! The staff was extremely warm and welcoming from the start. Expectations were set out clearly, the hours were respected and the working atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I enjoyed spending time with other volunteers and guests at the beach, Faro is the perfect starting point for daytrips to other cities as well. I definetely recommend coming here:)

This was the best first world packers exchange I could have asked for. The hostel itself is so clean and charming. I made great connections with guests and especially my fellow volunteers. The work isn't very demanding and I feel it was a fair trade. Faro as a city is on the smaller more quaint side which I enjoyed but if you desire something more urban you get two days off every week which makes it perfect to travel. I had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend the hostel to any traveller considering.

Hey everybody! I worked at the hostel for a month. It has been a great experience. The work shifts are good and leave lots of free time. Night shift is the only tricky shift. I didn't do it but usually you get to do it and I heard it can be a bit tiresome. Apart from this the experience has been amazing. The hostel is really nice and it's filled with nice people. You get to meet new people everyday and that's really inspiring and motivating. The rooftop is really cosy and fun; there's a different theme for every night (karaoke, movie, beer pong…) . I firmly recommend this experience!🥰🌈

The Hostel is in a great location. It's centrally located in Faro and everything is within walking distance. The tasks were simple and easy to do, the workers at the hostel were kind and friendly and easy going. The shifts were 5hrs a day and depending on if you worked reception that week, you would work 7hrs during the night, from midnight to 7am for 3 days. After those 3 days, you would get 3 days off and it's very good. For sleeping, the dorms for volunteers were the best I've ever encountered while volunteering. It was very spacious with a shared bathroom between you and 3 other people.

I had a great time and the hostel! I met a lot of really cool other people who were both guests and other volunteers. Faro was a good base to visit other cities such as Lagos, and Seville even. Would recommend if you enjoy a peaceful and chill environment :)

Staying at the hostel was an unforgettable experience! I met amazing people from all over the world, and it quickly felt like being part of a big family <3 The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making sure everyone feels at home. The working hours and facilities are super well organized, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. On my days off, I had the chance to explore the whole of Portugal If you're looking for a place where you'll feel connected, supported, and surrounded by great vibes, the hostel is the place. Highly recommend :)

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel! The staff is super nice and friendly, the hours of work are fully respected, and Faro is a beautiful and peacefull place! If you want to meet new people everyday, you have to come here!

I couldn't have imagined anything better. The hostel is amazing — always clean, with very comfortable accommodations. The work isn't hard, and Jennifer is super flexible; you can always ask to change your schedule if needed. Jennifer, the team, and the other volunteers were all lovely and friendly. I enjoyed every moment at the hostel! I made truly great friends and learned so much. Thank you, the hostel, for everything. It was my first volunteering experience, and I know it won't be the last. I totally recommend this hostel — you won't regret it!
