I walked into this not really knowing what to expect, being my first ever volunteer experience I applied to, I am so pleased this place became my first experience. The work I received altered between Breakfast, Housekeeping and Reception Shifts, I was trained well before I was left on my own and for the majority the work was so easy and manageable. I stayed in Sunset the hostel which every place was in easy access to. As for Lisbon, it's an unmissable city and I can't wait to visit again, would absolutely recommend. I met the most amazing people, especially the ones I worked with

I really enjoyed and loved the time i spent here volunteering! I love everyone of the workers here they are so kind, funny and they give u the family feeling. Lisbon the hostel is on the Top 1 of Hostels where i volunteered. I can highly recommend you to stay with them and volunteer to get your own experience! ❤️✨

Everybody was so nice and welcoming and helpful, I've had such a good time during my stay. I really recommend it, nice hours so you get a lot of time to explore Lisbon

I planned to stay for one month and ended up staying an extra 2 weeks because I had such a great time! The tasks are fair and simple: breakfast shift, making beds, and reception. The hours are respected and there is lots of free time to explore Lisbon. All the staff members are very friendly and it is also easy to make friends with guests or other volunteers because there are many social events. This was one of my favorite volunteering experiences I have done and I definitely recommend it!! :)

I can't even explain with words how great this month and a half has been. I recommend everyone to join Lisbon the hostel crew cause it'll become your family! I spent the best time ever, tasks were good, you have to be prepared to make maany beds but then you get used to it quickly:) if you're insecure, JUST GO!!

It was my first experience as a volunteer and It was really amazing at Sunset, I'm so glad I did here, I would never change it!!! The tasks and hours were always respected (good luck with bed shifts is gonna be a funny gym session). I'm gonna miss you so much guys, love you everyone!! I would definitely come back for holiday or another volunteering experience!! See you soon :) ☀️☀️☀️

I spent a month with the hostel, and absolutely adored every second of my time. All members of the staff are the warmest most welcoming people. After just a few days, they all felt like family and the hostel, like a second home. I volunteered alongside 3 other girls in a shared dorm and we all had the best time together. The hours were very reasonable - sometimes you would have 16hrs a week and others 24 but this allowed for consecutive days off to explore the rest of lovely Portugal/stay in the other hostels. Overall, I cannot recommend this opportunity more! muito obrigado! <3

Totalmente recomendado! Una experiencia increíble con gente genial. Todo el staff más que amables y predispuestos, las instalaciones muy lindas, se cumplió y respeto siempre lo acordado, y con flexibilidad y comunicación siempre de su lado.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy positiva, pase unos días muy lindos disfrutando de las instalaciones que el hostel nos proporcionaba y de la gente que conocí, tanto huéspedes como con el personal. Recomiendo sin dudas este lugar para aquellos que busquen conocer Lisboa y Portugal, ya que uno de los beneficios que teníamos como voluntarios era la posibilidad de en nuestros días libres hacer uso de la red de hostels que tienen en todo el país de manera gratuita, por lo que era muy fácil y accesible conocer otras ciudades. Espero poder volver ya que tuve una muy buena estadía allí.
