It was my first volunteer experience and It was amazing. I recommend this volunteer to everyone who wants to visit Portugal. I had many free days in a row so I could go to other cities and explore them. The working hours are fair, the beds shift can be challenging but with a good podcast its not that bad. You have free tours/pub crawls and there are many events in the hostel, don't miss the Karaoke night. The staff was very nice and funny. I had a great time there :)

Wow ! What an amazing experience 🫶 I couldn't recommend Sunset the hostel more !! You will have an amazing stay there ! The team of both Sunset and Lisbon the hostel is amazing, warm and welcoming. I loved my stay and didn't have one bad day at Sunset 🫶 ! Talking about the volunteering itself : it's very very simple and the hours are entirely respected !! I will visit Sunset again for sure !

I had a wonderful experience volunteering at the hostel! The working hours are respected and schedule is flexible. It's well located and you have plenty of time to explore the city or go on longer trips, for example to their sister hostels. Thanks to the amazing staff and the other volunteers that made the stay the best! I can't wait to go back to Lisbon some day!

This experience was truly amazing. All the staff and volunteers were so welcoming and helpful. The hostel is beautiful, clean and really well located. The hours were well respected and it was flexible. A big thank you to all the staff and volunteers for making Lissbon feel like a home away from home. Hope to see you all again soon!

I had an amazing experience while being a volunteer here! All the activities were as described and the schedule is well divided, so I had plenty of time to explore Lisbon, especially because of the perf location of the hostel. The volunteers room was also a high point, but the best part was definitely the staff. The hostel team is amazing, they're really kind, always doing their best to try to make us feel at home. Special shoutout to the receptionists, bar keepers and Rosa. Also, Magda, who's in charge of the volunteers, is really sweet and flexible, which is really helpful during our stay.

This experience was possibly the most memorable of my entire life. I met the most incredible people and had so much fun the entire way. The staff is fantastic, the other volunteers are universally amazing, and the city is so beautiful and enjoyable. As my first volunteering experience, it couldn't have gone better. I even extended an extra week! I 100% recommend this to anyone looking to volunteer somewhere.

This was truly the best experience I have ever had, I now have best friends scattered all across the world as well as just in Lisbon! The hostel is impeccably clean and beautiful, the volunteer room was ideal and the work itself was very reasonable with a very fair and balanced schedule between us all. Magda was an absolute pleasure to work for and all the other staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I can genuinely say I have a second family with the hostel crew now, I can't recommend this experience enough!

I really enjoyed staying at Lisbon the hostel!The vibe of the hostel is great and everyone was really welcoming and friendly and made it extremely easy for me to feel at home!Tasks (which included changing beds, helping at reception and preparing breakfast) and work hours were fair, the location is perfect to explore the city and every week there are some fun events. My experience here was what I was looking for and more, I got to meet so many people from all over the world, made some amazing friends and got to know Lisbon. I miss this special place and the amazing staff and volunteers!
