My/our experience at Paul's place was really nice. The area and garden is beautiful and you get to enjoy pure nature. There is a little waterfall that runs through his place aswell. I helped mostly in the garden and also cooked once. It was nice eating and cooking with the other volunteers or his two girls who are very sweet. Also I will miss Odin, his dog :) I learnt a lot from Paul about gardening and living offgrid We also got to meet some locals at a dance, which was very warming. Even though we were porly, we felt well look after. Thanks for the experience& i can only recommend! :)

Infelizmente o quarto que fiquei era precário e com muitas aranhas,enormes. tentei conversar com Paul,mas não houve nenhum tipo de compreensão da parte dele,ele ignorou minhas solicitações de ajuda. num geral falava Alemão com o outro casal que estava lá tb, eles faziam questão de só falar em alemão.Me senti excluída, fora outras coisas desagradável que presenciei. Infelizmente Paul não foi nada flexível como diz ser. A cidade mais próxima fica cerca de 40 minutos a pé,então fiquei totalmente isolada, porque ele não queria levar até a cidade quando precisei.Odin foi meu melhor companheiro

Foi a minha segunda experiência no voluntariado e foi incrível!! Paul é um excelente anfitrião e fiquei feliz por ajudá-lo também. Foi muito boa a experiência de conviver com pessoas de diferentes partes do mundo. Sobre o trabalho a ser feito, foi tudo bem tranquilo, nada que saia fora do normal, os voluntários se ajudam e são bem unidos, de certeza fiz amigos que vou levar para a vida toda...

What to say about the last few weeks... This was my first experience volunteering and I couldn't have started better. the farm has an incredible energy and made me reconnect with writing and my art. Paul is an excellent host and makes everything to let the volunteers as comfortable as possible, with accommodation or choosing tasks. Talking about the tasks, there's a list of tasks that he'd like to be done and you're free to choose which ones you'd like to do or you can also suggest new ones. I truly recommend a stay at the farm. It's a magic place with wonderful people. :D

Staying at Paul's place was a great experience. I learned many things about the environment and sustainability by working with him. There are many tasks that need to be done and you can choose according to your preferences. The view from his land is beautiful and makes you want to explore the nature. Finally, Paul is really commited to make everything for the good of the volunteers and of his two young and smart daughters.

I really enjoyed my stay at Paul's farm and it was an amazing first volunteer experience!! Paul really cares about the volunteers and wants to make sure everyone is comfortable. The work was quite easy and interesting, and you can always choose from lots of tasks based on your skills and interests. For example, I helped with editing a website, painting, clearing the terraces, weeding, planting seeds, harvesting grapes, and even learning how to make wine together! The vegetarian food was delicious, and I enjoyed cooking together with the other volunteers and of course, making new friends!

Working together with Paul was really great, he explains the work very well, helps you improve your English and teaches you things in life that are also useful. Being at her home was really a luxury as she cooks well, her daughters also helped me improve my English and helps you connect with nature. Besides that, he taught me some tricks to learn to play the guitar. My main objective was to improve my English and I think I did it since your family and friends help you a lot to lose that fear that if you speak badly. Being my first volunteer was very good, I would even go back.

My stay was amazing, the place is quiet and peaceful, you could just be silent and listen to the nature. Paul is a great person, he made me feel like I was part of his family, he's kind, patient and easy to comunicate with, plus his daughters are lovely.
