All positive reviews below mine describe my own experience at Paul's very well. Paul is a wonderful host with lots of interesting and heart filling stories to share. His land is very beautiful and he has a vision of what it can become, so there are different tasks to do. Besides that, I got to spend time with his wonderful daughters and friends. In the 2 weeks I was there, there was a lot of culture exchange (since I also met 2 other amazing volunteers). There was always good music, delicious food and a harmonious atmosphere. Thank you for everything! :)

Paul offered to pick me up if needed and was always flexible with schedules. I had a very nice project to build a wooden house for the Oden, the dog. We had to adapt on some days due to the rain, but Paul was always open and creative with tasks. Delicious meals were provided, with generous quantities. There were plenty coffee and tea moments, often a great opportunity to chat and share experiences. Paul took his time to explain how his off the grid system works and was patient with my learning. All in all a great experience, learnt a lot and met nice people. Amazing it was only a week.

I had the most amazing week volunteering at Paul's! He is an incredible host, the view is breathtaking and his daughters are absolutely adorable. I learned a lot about gardening and sustainability and he was very patient and flexible with the tasks, always making sure I understood what needed to be done and felt comfortable doing it. I'm very grateful for the whole experience and all the talks we had. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Foram dias que me senti vivendo com um amigo, muita simplicidade e consciência no dia-a-dia. Paul está sempre bem disposto para melhorar o seu lugar, e me senti motivado com aquela missão, também está sempre pronto para tomar um café. Assim também, a comunidade que o cerca é impressionante e nos tem muito a ensinar. Odin é um bom amigo e as filhas do anfitrião são muito divertidas. To the good life!

The moments at Paul's farm were incredible and I will always carry them in my memory and heart. It was my 1st experience at worldpackers and the tasks I did were light and flexible:some cleaning on the farm,small vegetable harvests, spending time with the girls, who are very independent, smart and brave. There, I ate delicious food without meat,drank water from a natural source and used energy generated by photovoltaic panels, which has been making me rethink my resources consumption. The farm river is beautiful and I also went with them to a river pool, a lake, and an amazing full moon party!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! The working hours were flexible and we learned a lot about gardening and sustainability in general. We also enjoyed our talks about psychology and to hear about his life. His daughters are extremely intelligent and friendly from the beginning. We felt really comfortable and would definitely recommend it!!
