Great volunteering experience on a peaceful hill near Szentendre. We worked Fri–Sun from about 9:30 to mid-afternoon with occasional changes. Tasks included kitchen prep, dishwashing and housekeeping. The team is fun, food generous, and they were very accommodating with Finn's gluten allergy. Accommodation is warm and comfortable. Days off are flexible. A supportive, fair host and highly recommended experience. I only stayed for a short time, but it was such a great experience! The place is surrounded by beautiful nature, everyone was super friendly, and Viktor was amazing, really kind, and always helpful. I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a positive and welcoming vibe. Hope to see you all again someday!

Very special place, very special people. The air is extremely fresh, the vibes are chill and the energies are just perfect up on that hill. Viktor, his family and the crew are welcoming and they made me feel safe and home from the first moment I arrived. His organization and communication skills are the best. I enjoyed all the work I have done there and the well deserved rest after in my cozy little room. On your day offs you can make beautiful trips from here. 100% recommended and I will definitely come back someday!

I had a really good time. Viktor and all the team are very friendly and made me feel welcome every time. I would do this experience again a thousand times. I learned new things and visited beautiful places. I highly recommend this place. I will remember it fondly !!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel and felt very welcomed! The work was fairly simple and mostly included making pancakes and cleaning the rooms. I had a lot of free time to explore Hungary and go on trips during the week. The views and hikes around the hostel are beautiful and it's very peaceful. Viktor and his family are so kind and he helped me with finding information on how to find the town my great grandfather was from, which really made me feel like he cared about my experience. I will appreciate that forever!

I loved my stay with Viktor and his family at the hostel! From the moment that I arrived I felt welcomed and the room I had was very cozy and comfortable. I enjoyed learning not only how to make pancakes (which are delicious by the way) but also about what it takes to run a hostel in a national park and a lot about Hungarian culture. I had lots of time to explore the town and take day trips to Budapest while also enjoying the nature surrounding the hostel. I also got to meet many people from Hungary who were all so kind and made it such a wonderful experience!
