The hostel is a lovely accommodation, it's located in the city center, 5min away from the bus station, the main park and other touristic places. The work was really easy and calm since the season wasn't that demanded and it wasn't a social experience or opportunity to make cultural exchange as expected. Nelson gave us everything we needed and was really welcoming. It was a little lack of communication about the tasks but overall it was a good experience! Thank you!

My friend and I helped out at the hostel for about a month during off-season. It wasn't necessarily a regular hostel experience with people from all over the world traveling through, which had it's ups and downs. Nelson was very helpful and forthcoming with our wishes regarding the free days or overall unexpected situations we faced during work hours :) It's also a bonding experience with other worldpackers, which we were thankful for.

Tuve una cálida y cómoda experiencia en el hostel. Nelson, es un muy buen anfitrión y se preocupa por la comodidad de los voluntarios como también respeta el horario y hace lo posible para que tu tiempo libre se adecúe a tus necesidades. Braga es una ciudad maravillosa, tiene muchos sitios por visitar y también su estación de autobuses es muy comercial por lo que puedes ir a muchos lados del país. En general pasé una bonita experiencia. Muchas gracias por todo, Nelson!

Nelson é uma ótima pessoa, explica bem o que tem que fazer e fazemos nossos horários de acordo com a semana e é sempre conversável. Uma ótima localização do hostel e boa oportunidade de conhecer Braga, os seus arredores e os novos viajantes que passam pelo hostel! Obrigada!

It was so amazing to stay here. Nelson is very kind and welcoming. I stayed here for 2 weeks and I had a lot of fun. He made some Portugese home cooked meals, which was really fun to try. The work is easy to cover and social. Nelson really cares a lot about the hostel, which you can see and I think that is amazing! I would definetly recommend this place to anyone. The city is also cute and there are a lot of other beautiful places nearby

The hostel was a great first experience as a worldpacker! The hostel is located in a cute, historic city and it's very easy to travel all over Portugal by bus/train. The work is easy and not demanding and you get an opportunity to meet travelers from all over the world. Nelson is an amazing host! He was very welcoming and kind and always made sure we were doing well and felt comfortable. I sprained my ankle while in Braga and ended up in a walking boot and Nelson was very accommodating with work and made sure I could get around okay. Highly recommend to others!

Sin duda fue una experiencia increíble. Haber trabajado en la recepción atendiendo a huéspedes me ayudo a practicar mi ingles y portugués. Pude sumergirme en la cultura local. Braga es una ciudad donde todo el tiempo tiene eventos culturales, como festivales, exposiciones. A si mismo tiene muchas ciudades importantes cerca como Oporto o lugares de naturaleza como Gerês . Por lo que nunca te aburrirás. Siempre hay algo que hacer. Nelson siempre esta a disposición para ayudarnos en lo que precisemos y hacernos sentir bienvenidos. Obrigada por tudo!.

The volunteer experience at the hostel was amazing. I had the chance to see how does hostel work and get to know local culture. Our host Nelson was very helpful and communicative. The tasks and hours of work were as agreed before. The city of Braga is very social and there's many culture events going on. In the free time I and other volunteers were spending a lot of time doing fun stuff as playing card games or having dinners. I was really lucky to spend my first volunteering there!
