My time at the guest house was super interesting. I felt incredibly comfortable there. Mike and Howard were very friendly. I loved the place, met some really nice people, enjoyed it a lot, and loved leaving a piece of my mural there. Thank you!

Staying at the guest house was such a sweet experience. I met many amazing guests from all over the world, and Howard is truly an incredible host. The volunteer team was awesome too I already miss everyone! Malacca is a very charming city: super chill, full of beautiful spots and delicious (and cheap!) food. The hostel has a great atmosphere, cozy and welcoming. The working hours are fair, the tasks are light, and overall it was a really enjoyable volunteer experience. I'd love to come back one day 💙

I had a very good experience here. My roommates were spectacular, and my work hours were always respected. Howard and Mike were always attentive to any questions I had. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place.

This was my 12th volunteer experience and definitely one of the best I've had. I arrived in Malacca without knowing much about the city and I'm so glad I decided to come. At this hostel I met amazing people who made my experience truly unforgettable. The tasks are very simple, the schedule is flexible and Howard the host is truly the best, such a kind and genuine person. Leaving this place wasn't easy, but that shows how incredible the experience was. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and enjoyable stay in Malacca.

It is a good place to stay, and share with other people from every where, the atmosphere is chill and cozy, Howard the owner is always keen to do the place comfortable for everyone and also taking care of his volunteers, respectful, making sure everyone be happy and comfortable.

Mi experiencia en la casa ha sido estupenda. Las tareas son tal y como se detallan en la explicación y no se hace pesado. Son turnos de 4,5 horas y te dan flexibilidad en los turnos. Es una ciudad agradable y con encanto y con mucho turismo por lo que te da la oportunidad de conocer a otros viajeros internacionales. Howard y Mike son cercanos y están siempre disponibles para ayudarte. ¡Gracias por estos 15 días!

I stayed at this social hostel for 4 weeks and had an amazing time! My main responsibilities were at reception—checking guests in, answering questions, and creating a welcoming vibe. I also got involved in organizing and joining social activities like salsa nights, a street art walking tour, cycle tours, and even gym and pool sessions. Thanks Howard!!

I spent two weeks at the guest house and it's definitely a highlight of my trip in Malaysia ! I felt at home since the day I arrived ! My tasks were mostly at the reception, but I could also organise events (as salsa class!). And I had lots of time to connect with other volunteers and the guests. Malacca is a really nice and cute city. It was my first experience as a volunteer in a hostel, and I highly recommend !

Volunteering at the guest house was an incredible experience. My tasks as a volunteer were simple and well organized: encouraging guests to join activities (like bike tours, trivia nights, and dinners), occasionally helping at reception, and creating a positive vibe around the guesthouse.
