I had a great experience volunteering at the guest house. The hostel had a very chill, welcoming vibe and lots of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the city. I enjoyed the fact that we were encouraged to do something every day/night with the guests, even if that was just going out for dinner. Thanks Howard!!

I loved volunteering at the guest house, it was truly an amazing place to work, Howard the owner is a really nice guy, helps with anything. Working with the other volunteers was also an amazing experience, it felt like home for 3 weeks. I can only recommend this place. The work was also super fun and easy. I will definitely be back!!<3

It was my first volunteering experience and it was truly enjoyable, sociable, and funny. Howard is such a easygoing guy ,and tasks were super easy peasy 😎 And also Malaka is a beautiful city with delicious local food as well. I made some true family here so I'm very happy. I have been volunteering in Ringos since 2017. Here I had my best travel memories and connections. A very good place when you can connect and meet international travelers and hear travel stories and get some traveling tips. In the middle of Melaka, where you can connect with locals and enjoy the Malaysian multicultural environment. Traveler-friendly place. The owner, Howard, is a very cool, helpful, and easygoing man; you will be friends.

Since the day that I arrived everything and everybody was comfortable and easy. It is a very social hostel so you meet many friends and you da lot of activities all together. He offres no kitchen and no food, but it is an opportunity to eat together with guests or volunteers and have more fun and networking. Ringos was a fantastic place to volunteer! The volunteer accommodation is brilliant and it's nice to be separate from the hostel dorms. The work is simple and split into organised shifts with other volunteers. I loved working at reception as I got to meet a lot of travellers and I made so many friends here. Howard the owner and his family are so lovely, he's super flexible with shifts and always gives the best advice / recommendations! It wouldn't be the same without him. I 100% recommend it here !

I had such a great time volunteering in Melaka through Worldpackers! The city is full of charm — colorful streets, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There's not much to say really for the guest house, it was a great experience, everyone was so friendly and there's always a social atmosphere. the work it self was very chill too, apart from your daily volunteering duties there wasn't much else to do. howard is very encouraging to hang out with the guests, to just relax or just to do your own thing. even with the volunteering is pretty straightforward and easy, at first i was a bit intimidated by it, but there's a list of what you're supposed to do each shift which really helped!
