I don't think I can put it into words how amazing this place and the people in it are and how grateful I am to have experienced all of it! I absolutely loved my time <3 Mayra, Rene, Marion and Oliver really make you feel at home and create an incredible atmosphere. I would recommend this to everyone searching for a place to feel home in the bush. The work is easygoing and flexible. You will see so many animals and have the time of your live! You learn a lot and especially that you can always make a plan ;) Already miss this place! <3

I couldn't recommend KPH enough! Everyone at the hostel is amazing, always happy to help with whatever you need. The shifts are super flexible too so if you want to da safari they will do their best to make it happen! It's such a surreal experience and no day is the same, you could be waking up to zebras one day and hanging out with bush babies the next! I absolutely loved this experience (the best volunteer experience I've had so far😁) and will miss my the hostel family massively!! If you're thinking about applying - JUST DO IT! ❤️

The hard part is leave! I spend the most beautiful 3 weeks at the hostel and I would stay if a could. The place is beautiful and the nature is even more amazing. I loved every minute watch all the animals going there to eat. The task are super simple and doable, the hosts (Marion, Oliver, Mayra and Rene) communicate all the time with us making the experience easy. I'm already missing biking around to see giraffes, the sunsets and, of course, feed the rhino. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Guest or volunteers. Thanks you guys

I can't thank KPH for their hospitality, kindness and generosity over the last 4 weeks. I've done a couple of volunteering experiences before but this is my first one with Worldpackers - I found this was a great exchange where you felt truly welcomed and were able to make the most of your free time. They have such a wonderful atmosphere and team that I will miss so much. Communications were always clear, tasks were simple and the hosts were very flexible - I felt like I learnt a lot and made the most of my time in the hostel. It's a wonderful experience that I'd recommend to anybody. THANK YOU!

I had the most amazing time at the hostel!! I really needed to get out of my hometown and reconnect with nature, and this experience definitely helped me do that :) the hosts were fantastic, the work was simple, and the guests were great to talk to and learn from. In the mornings, we would always be greeted by different animals like zebra, kudu, monkeys, impala, warthogs, and wildebeest— it was like living in a movie. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you so much Mayra & Rene !!!

My volunteering experience was incredible, and I highly recommend it. The hosts made me feel right at home, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. During this time, I connected with both nature and myself. The work was manageable, and everything was well-organized. If I have another opportunity, I will definitely return. Um ambiente acolhedor em meio a uma natureza estonteante. Vivemos dias inesquecíveis no hostel, foi nosso primeiro voluntariado e não poderíamos ter escolhido melhor opção. A equipe foi super receptiva e tornou a experiência leve e prazerosa. A rotina de trabalho em ótima, pois lhe permite tanto contribuir com a hospedagem quanto aproveitar o lugar, tanto o ambiente do hostel quanto os arredores do Marloth o hostel. Poder participar dos tours e Safáris é um adicional incomparável, nunca esqueceremos. Por fim, a equipe Mayra, Rene, Martin e Anne são pessoas maravilhosas! Obrigada!

I loved the whole experience in the hostel. The job activities were “light”, working hours respected, and the place is very calm (you can rest besides working). For me, that was traveling for a while then, was such a perfect place to settle for a bit. Felt kinda like home! Mayra an Rene are sweet people, and will do everything to make you feel good there and also to show you the safari life!

I had an fantastic volunteering experience at Krügerpark Hostel. The hosts Rene and Mayra are kind, fun, and lovely people who made me feel right at home, I can say the same about Martin and Annie. The location is amazing, with animals visiting the garden almost daily. I had a great time with both the team and the guests, and the safaris were simply unforgettable. I highly recommend a stay there!
