I had an amazing experience at Kruger Park Hostel. I went on countless safaris, met incredible people, learned how to bake bread and rusks and learned even more about myself. I am very thankful for my time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone! :)

I had an amazing time volunteering at this hostel in South Africa. The team was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the start. Working together with the other volunteers never felt like work — it felt fun, light and full of laughter.

The game drives were absolutely breathtaking and definitely one of the highlights of my stay. I’m very grateful for this experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a meaningful and unforgettable time. :)

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your experience didn’t meet your expectations. Regarding the electricity outage, this was due to a municipal issue and lasted about an hour. The kitchen was indeed busier during your short stay, but cleanliness was part of your role outlined before arrival. Our owners are present daily, though not always in the kitchen. Previous volunteers enjoy the environment and schedule, but we appreciate your perspective and will review areas for improvement.

Kruger Park Hostel was simply incredible on every level. The staff — Rene, Mayra, Oliver, and Marion — create a warm, eco-minded, community-focused environment that makes you feel instantly at home. The balance of volunteer work and free time was perfect, the accommodation was amazing, and the tours were unforgettable. The guides, Lebo and Robert, were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly on every game drive. This place exceeded every expectation. I am forever grateful for all I have learned and experienced at this volunteer placement.
Thank you KPH! <3

The whole trip was amazing and life changing. The hostel was really cozy, rooms and bathrooms were nice, food good and the whole enviorment and atmosphere was great! The group trip host Harrison did an amazing job to make sure that everybody felt included and had fun. It was nice seeing the grass we planted grow so that we felt like we actually made a difference. Just a 10/10 experience
