My experience was sweet but short. The other volunteers were very welcoming and friendly, I felt like we worked well as a team. Unfortunately, I felt like I couldn't stay any longer because my health had been declining since I arrived. There was black mold on the wall beside my bed and in the mattress I was sleeping on - combined with my asthma, it made it really hard for me to breath and I was coughing a lot.
