Very good for a first volunteer experience! The shifts are well planned and respected. They may ask if you could help in different areas from the one you chose but if you don't feel comfortable you don't need to. The male dorms don't have showers or toilets and are about 100m from the main facility (castle). So just have in mind that if you want to use the toilet in the middle of the night you need to go for a midnight walk to get to the closest toilet. Overall very nice experience and perfect if you want to meet other volunteers from all over the world!

This place is amazing, I was wellcoming by everybody, volunteers and employeers. It is a very peaceful place that help to find my self. The work is not hard. The Monks and the Center team are always smiling, all of them are really kind. I'm going to miss this place.

It was a transformative experience because here we connected with ourselves and also learned about the Center practices and Buddhism. Gyalwang is extremely helpful, caring and fair, always willing to resolve any conflict. I can only thank the center for this experience.

Nossa experiência foi muito boa aqui é um lugar ótimo para entrar na imersão budista, os trabalhos a serem feitos são muito fáceis equipe do centro sempre bem solícita com as necessidades. Obrigado ao centro e espero velos novamente 😀👋

Eles me buscaram de carro em Ecommoy, propiciaram excelente quarto, deliciosa comida vegetariana etc. A beleza arquitetônica e histórica do templo é preservada pela comunidade budista. O trabalho no jardim é leve e com toda proteção, inclusive contra o frio. Fabian é flexível no horário, muito educado e atencioso. As máquinas para lavar e secar roupas são excelentes. As meditações são ótimas também para aprendermos Francês e Inglês. Bárbara sempre nos informa. Há natureza ao redor, muitos cantos de pássaros, boa internet, livros etc. the Center FR também é 5 estrelas, por todos. Merci beaucoup!!!

I had a beautiful experience at the the Center. Everyone is so caring and welcoming, they kept making sure we felt comfortable and were having a good time. The work hours are 100% respected and the tasks are easy to do. You can walk or bike to the little villages close to the Center, or you can take a bus or train and visit Le Mans or even Paris. I was there for a week and it felt like a short time, so I'm looking forward to coming back! Thank you to everyone I met there, it was truly a lovely experience 🥰
