It was more than I expected! I can say that I would apply to another the Center or even considering coming back. It has been the most life changing volunteer experience so far I've participated in. I have met lots of people, talk about really interesting topics, deep conversations I will never forget and lots of teachings about life. To be honest, I didn't know exactly how was going to be to stay in a Buddhist temple, and I've learned more than I could imagine. At the point that the meditations where one of my favorites things, I truly enjoyed it and I'll take those lessons always, thanks!

Une expérience incroyable! Tous très accueillants, l'opportunité de parler français (d'autres langues aussi, pour ceux qui souhaitent) et de se connecter avec des gens de différents endroits du monde! C'était très intéressant de participer à certaines activités centrales et d'en savoir un peu plus sur le bouddhisme. Super organisé la division des tâches, faisant l'équipe qui fait bien. Super!

I had a wonderful stay at KMC the Center. I met many great people, learned a lot about Buddhism and the the Center, and got to practice my French. My work consisted of working in the kitchen and cafeteria but there are other tasks in gardening and housekeeping as well. Hours were always well respected and communication was great. I had a lot of free time that I spent talking with teachers, retreaters, and other volunteers. The grounds around the castle are beautiful and I felt entirely at peace during my stay. Would highly recommend!

Mon expérience au the Center a été incroyable. Tout cela est très gentil pour nous accueillir, le travail était d'accord avec tous les combinés. J'ai pu effectuer différentes tâches et partager des idées et partager le travail avec la population locale et de divers endroits du monde. J'ai eu l'occasion de participer à certaines activités et d'en savoir plus sur le bouddhisme, ce fut une expérience super! Merci!

I'm very grateful for the days I spent here! The work is easy, the schedule is respected, and the people who work at the Center are always very kind. I was able to learn a bit more about Buddhism and reconnect with nature! The place is beautiful and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it and hope to return someday :)

Me ha encantado el centro! La vibra del lugar es maravillosa, todos super amables y las tareas son fáciles y claras. La comida genial! (Todo veggie :). Hay muchas posibilidades de sumergirse en la vivencia espiritual por las meditaciones diarias y hasta las ofrecen en inglés también! Hay bicis para ir al pueblo y es muy cómodo para recorrer alrededores si se quiere. Muy agradecida por permitirme vivir esta experiencia. Volvería sin dudas! 🙏❤️

It was a very unic experience. I got to meet some really inspiring people, and the place was so beautiful, clean and comfortable. I could spend much free time, reflecting, pondering and learning. It was really a moment of full peace in my life, in my mind and of much reflexion. Thank you so much the Center team for having me and for teaching me so many principles and virtues. I loved to meet you all, and it was a pleasure to share some of my own culture and language.

My time here was a wonderful experience- it is a beautiful place to be surrounded by nature and to meet amazing people. Tasks are clear and work times are respected, and I also really appreciated the flexibility in positions and got to work with great teams in both housekeeping and the kitchen. A memorable time that I will carry with me for the rest of my travels! :)
