My time at the hostel was nothing short of incredible. Helping with the Volcano Boarding tours is one of the coolest things I've ever done and I never get tired of hiking the volcanos. I loved the variation in activities and no day was the same so it never got boring. Nunu is the best manager and is always understanding if you want a certain shift or day off. The volunteers are a family, the food at the hostel is great, and Leon is a friendly city to live in. I also don't drink and still had a great time despite it being a party hostel. I will for sure be back soon and definitely recommend it :)

El hostel fue una experiencia increíble, Nunu es muy linda y los trabajadores de ahí también ( Lester y Roberto fueron geniales) conectas bien con otros voluntarios y las actividades son increíbles y definitivamente te divertirás sí o sí, realmente espero volver en el futuro:))

El hostel es un party hostel muy lindo y muy buena onda. El equipo también lo es, y la comida es buenísima. Tienen diferentes actividades todos los días, como fiestas, juegos, días de playa(perfectos para relajarse y recuperar energía), y tareas relacionadas con el medioambiente 🐢, eso lo hace dinámico y muy entretenido. Siempre hay muchos viajeros, ideal para hacer amigos y aprender sobre otras culturas e idiomas. Está muy bien ubicado, y en una ciudad bastante segura. El hostel tiene una muy buena organización logística, una gran característica para tener una excelente experiencia. 🧡✨.

If you are party person this place is definitely for you. Nunu, the manager, is very friendly and nice with outstanding communication skills. The people we met were fantastic, creating an amazing atmosphere. Big foot hostel is like big family and you can feel it during your stay. The food was excellent as well. Be prepared, though, that also patry live is very demanding, and after this stay, you'll need some time to relax and catch up on the hours you spent partying. Other than that, it was an unforgettable experience!

Was an amazing experience, the team is so welcoming especially Nunu. The shifts are so fun and the vibe of the hostel is unmatched. Would definitely recommend it!

I'm not even sure I can find the right words to say. the hostel feels more like home to me than anywhere else I've ever been in this world. I extended my stay, even! The volunteers, the workers, the amazing locals you will meet along the way. It's truly unlike anything I've ever experienced in my life. Expect to come here and have the time of your life, meet the best people and make the most amazing memories. Te amo the hostel!!!

The hostel really is a place to find family. When I first got here, I didn't know anyone and was scared of not fitting in but we quickly ended up cuddled up in our dorm watching movies together haha. Even the staff are super friendly and I liked that I got to meet a lot of locals. In general, there's always events going on at the hostel that it's never boring - this place is super social and really fun (even wild at times) so if that's your thing, I suggest this place! I don't drink alcohol anymore, yet I still joined in and partied - everyone is so welcoming here and supportive!
