I had the most incredible Worldpackers experience volunteering at the hostel! The manager, Nunu, and all the other volunteers became like family to me. Nunu was amazing at accommodating everyone's needs and wants. I made unforgettable memories and felt like I found the sisters I never had. Thank you, the hostel, for this special opportunity!

The hostel is an incredible place, and Nunu is the best host I've ever had. First job: from volcano boarding to hosting beer pong tournaments and beach clean ups, there's a wide range of shifts and each day is unique. Second, Nunu is a strong yet empathetic leader. She is one of the best support systems/managers I've ever had, and I feel lucky to have met her! Third, the perks are incredible; free food, free nights at other hostels, and discounts on big parties and hikes outside Leon. And last, the volunteers are a vibe. the hostel family is real; I made friends for life :)

People keep talking about a second family that you find there and you can't describe it better or more precisely. I extended my stay at the hostel twice because I liked it there so much. I have never seen a more social hostel and it is perfect for solo travellers but also couples or friends. I think this time at the hostel was one of the most formative times in my life for my personal development and if I wasn't a bit tied to time I would probably spend years there. But I know one thing for 100%, I will go back!

What a special place this is. Being a part of the hostel made my experience in Nicaragua a ten out of ten. The staff are so welcoming and happy to help with any problem. There are activities everyday so you can never be bored, and there are always opportunities to get involved. Volcano boarding and the beach crawl were my highlights. I made so many great friends within the volunteers. Came for the fiesta, and stayed for the family.

Volunteering at the hostel is a lot of fun! Definitely a super social/party environment. The beach shuttles/parties are great, and the volcano boarding is iconic. Overall a great experience

Fun, crazy, amazing!! I loved being part of the hostel family & it truly was an unforgettable experience. I still can't believe it: the vibesss, great parties, vulcanoboarding and all the sweet people I met there - just a 10/10 recommendation!!

What a time the one in the hostel!!! I loved that every shift is different and not only behind the bar like other hostels. Volcano boarding, beach cleanings and maaany many bar crawl parties were simply TOO GOOD. Definitely come here if you're into doing the best of activities.

The hostel really did feel like a second family. Nunu who is in charge of the volunteers really cares about your wellbeing in every aspect. I had a ton of fun. The only challenge was charging up my social battery fast enough
