We were welcomed immediately when staying at the Alpen. Tasks are explained in detail when you arrive and you are always welcome to ask more questions. The accomodation is a cosy house for volunteers with enough room for everyone. We loved staying here although we cut our time shorter. We would love to return ❤️

The Alpen is a magical place. It's a space to slow down, reconnect with the beautiful surrounding nature and with yourself. You can join amazing retreats and explore different practices. The work is fair and enjoyable, but what truly makes this place special is the people. You're always surrounded by kind and loving people who welcome you with open arms and quickly feel like family. From Elly and Wolfgang to the volunteers, everyone helps make this place feel truly magical I'm deeply grateful for my time spent here.

I had a really great time at Alpen Retreat! It is a perfect place if you need to get out of the big city and reconnect with nature! You can go on walks through the forests and mountains, explore the little town Nassereith, go to Zugspitze or da short trip to Innsbruck on your days off. The working hours were respected and the instructions were clear and there was always someone to help :). The team is great, making you feel like at home and the food is delicious!!! Thank you for this opportunity!

Wow, the most amazing and special volunteer experience ever! Set amongst the Alps, it is truly a magical place to connect with nature, meet like-minded people and embrace slow living. The tasks were very evenly spread between the team, the expectations were clear and the whole team made you feel so welcomed and valued. Elly, Wolfgang and the staff are so welcoming, are always there to help you out and also have amazing local knowledge on things to do in the area. This is one experience I will never forget and I am so grateful for my time in the most special place, until next time Alpen xx

Alpen was one of the best volunteering experiences I've had! The workers, owners, and volunteers are incredibly kind, generous, and fun. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views, amazing hikes, and a river and lake nearby. Volunteer accommodation is shared and separate, and the food was always delicious and plentiful. During retreats, especially silent ones, time in the main house and yoga hall is limited, but the volunteer house is cozy. I'm so grateful for the time spent, the lessons learned, and the wonderful people I met. Hope to come back one day!

My three months at the Center were some of the best months of my life. I've met many amazing people in this place. The house is cozy and the surroundings are beautiful, especially if you like hiking and spending time in nature. The food situation is perfect, Fabiana is the best cook ever and the meals were always healthy and super tasty. I was not able to join any yoga/meditation retreat during my stay and when the house is full, it can be hard to find a good place to do your practice. Regardless, I'm really grateful for this beautiful experience. This place will be in my heart forever.

I can not put into words how amazing the Alpen Retreat was. The management was phenomenal as well as the dedication of the volunteers. It was a great opportunity to learn about culture, expand on skills, and develop long lasting friendships. For my first volunteering experience, I couldn't ask for a better facility.

My time at the Center was wonderful. This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I couldn't have chosen a better project to be apart of. The hosts, volunteers, and location all exceeded my expectations. I felt right at home, and learned a lot about different cultures. There are a lot of things to do around the area if you love nature. I highly recommend, and plan to return one day :)
