Genuinely the best experience I've had while volunteering. The staff is so welcoming and kind. They make you feel like you are apart of their family as soon as you arrive. This hostel also attracts the coolest people, your fellow volunteers will be good friends. As for work, all the hours are adaptable and fair. If you want to take day trips to other places it's completely doable. Overall LOVED. Would recommend to everyone

I'm glad I chose the hostel Mint for my first Worldpackers experience. Lucija (the staff member in charge of volunteers) was amazing from the very beginning, clear in her communication with volunteers, and always ensured our well-being was taken care of. The scheduled hours were respected, and the hostel was also very flexible with scheduling. Volunteers are provided with basic groceries in a well-equipped kitchen. There's also a bar and restaurant on-site, where volunteers receive discounted prices. I'd highly recommend the hostel Mint to anyone looking for a volunteering opportunity!

Essa foi a minha primeira experiência voluntariando e não poderia ter sido melhor! O hostel é limpo, aconchegante, organizado e seguro. As horas de trabalho são respeitadas e flexíveis e o serviço é tranquilo. A melhor parte de realizar esse voluntariado com toda certeza é a equipe! Extremamente acolhedores e simpáticos, em especial a Lucija 💕que é a responsável pelos voluntários. Zagreb é uma cidade super segura e bem localizada em relação a outros países, o que te permite viajar nos seus dias de folga. Tenho certeza que você vai viver momentos inesquecíveis, o hostel!

Volunteering at the the hostel was definitely one of the best decisions i could have made. I felt welcome from the very first moment. The staff is incredible and always willing to help with anything you need. A special thanks to Lucija – you are such an important part of the hostel! The shifts are very easy and you have enough free time to explore the city or travel to other places around Zagreb. I had an amazing time with all the other volunteers, and it's so easy to make new friends here. I will miss this place a lot and can strongly recommend volunteering here.

My volunteer experience at the hostel was incredible. Zagreb really started to grow on me during my the hostel — the culture, the pace of life, and the people all made a huge impression. As a kid from a small town in Tennessee, I was treated so well from day one. The staff, guests, and other volunteers made me feel welcomed and included, and I truly enjoyed meeting everyone. I'm grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to come back again.

Working at the hostel was truly an unreal experience.Not only is the hostel in a great location, has great rooms, an amazing bar and restaurant connected and overall great vibes, the best part is the staff. I've never felt so welcomed in a work environment and truly love every person I have worked with which is extremely hard to come by. I've made some very special friendships that I hope last a lifetime. As far as the work goes, the work is well explained by the staff and easy to do and allows you to have plenty of free time to explore Zagreb and neighboring cities. Couldn't recommend enough!!

Staying at the hostel was truly an amazing experience! From the very first day, the staff made me feel so welcome — they're all such kind, genuine, and incredible people. I also got along so well with the other volunteers, and it honestly felt like we were all one big family. The work was easy and fun and I especially loved working at the bar. I'm beyond grateful for the time I spent there and for everything I learned along the way. I already miss this place so much and will never forget all the wonderful people who made my time at the hostel so special. 💕

My experience in the hostel was amazing, people here are so friendly and helpful. About the tasks, those are so simple and everything is organized. The location is perfect because you are in the middle of the city. I would recommend this volunteer any doubts
