Gaz, Faria, and Arben all made me feel super welcome here and are the nicest people ever. Another traveller was injured and they took care of her like one of their own. The work was pretty chill and not too tiring with lots of free time during the day. Most tourists who stay here stay just one night so you get to meet new travellers every day. The home and view are so beautiful too. I would definitely recommend working here!

I had the most amazing time at Guesthouse Arben Selimaj! Truly became a home away from home and I am already planning on come back next summer! 2 weeks was not enough! You work breakfast and dinner so you have a lot of hours in between to explore the property and mountains all around. The family running this place are truly the kindest people I have ever known. I am so grateful to have found this place and will be back soon! Highly recommend to anyone especially if you love to hike!!!

I spend one month at Arben Selimaj guesthouse, and I had such a wonderful time. The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful and you have a lot of time to go on hikes. The work is easy and consistent. Be prepared for a lot of peace and connecting with nature during your stay here! Thank you to Gaz, Arben and Fariah for welcoming me with open arms! I hope to return someday! :)

I had an incredible experience with the guesthouse. Gaze and his family are such wonderful people. Valbonë is truly stunning and has some incredible hikes. An amazing place to rest and recharge. I was there for a month and the food was always amazing. They care so much about their guest and volunteer experience. Very comfortable accommodation. Cannot rate them highly enough.

I’m so grateful for this experience! Arben, Faria, and Gaz are incredibly warm and kind people, and I felt comfortable at the guesthouse very quickly. The work is straightforward with a few hours in the mornings and evenings, leaving the days free to explore hikes around beautiful Valbonë. It’s clear a lot of love has gone into their business and it was a pleasure to be a part of - I’d return in a heartbeat!
