I find it to be high quality advice, especially for people who intend to travel, as open-minded communication is definitely very important in life. But, in a situation that involves you being in another country, not speaking the local language very well and not knowing many people around you, maintaining laid-back and honest communication while not interrupting the person you're speaking with is essential.
